Gratitude is a skill that we must cultivate & starting a practice of gratitude is no easy task. A practice of gratitude is simple to start. Every day, think of one thing that you are grateful for. If you can’t think of anything, you can always come back to the simple things. I am grateful to have a roof over my head. I am grateful to have clothes on my back. I am grateful to have a bed to sleep in at night. At first, it may feel very hard to find something in each day to be grateful for, but with time, it becomes easier. 🌑 NEW MOON RITUAL 🌑 Today, I spent a good few hours honouring the new moon in pisces and the highly emotional energy that it brought us. Pisces is typically symbolized with two fish & is a water sign. So if you feel tears coming on, let it pour. I spent time today on a new moon ritual that I’ll share below. I did a length-ier tarot reading for myself. For the theme of this moon cycle, I chose the Page of Cups which (in my tarot deck) depicts a woman holding a cup with a fish in it. The card suggests the fish whispers stories to the woman ♋️ & encourages her to share the things she feels called to share. So, here I am, sharing something a little different 🙊 Here’s a New Moon Ritual for you to try! You can harness this energy for the next couple of days ✨ Save this for future use too: 🌑 Start your day with liquids & drink lots of water/tea throughout the day to stay hydrated 🌑 Smudge space with sage or palo santo (you can use incense as well, just set an intention for what you want to smoke to clear) 🌑 Meditation on sound (using a singing bowl or you can youtube a frequency to meditate with), breathe & focus on the sound (if you watched Umbrella Academy, this may sound familiar 😉), see if you can make the sound louder to drown out other noise 🌑 Journal about what came up through this meditation, if nothing came up (psh, go you!) then answer the journal prompt: What do I fear? Write it & let it go! 🌑 Optional: Tarot Reading - today I came up with an intuitive spread that I used & loved for my reading today!
