Godzilla Burger by @gone_vegan 🧡 Serves 2-4 Patties 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper 1 lb vegan minced “meat” 1/3 cup beetroot puree 1 tbsp liquid smoke 1 tsp hot sauce 1 tbs vegan bbq sauce 1/2 tbs sweet paprika 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste) Olive oil Burger 2 squared ciabattas, about 4.5x3.5inch 2 leaves fresh kale, chopped 1 roma tomato, sliced 1/4 red onion, sliced 6 slices smoked vegan cheese 1 tbsp vegan milk 1/2 zucchini, finely slice with a mandolin Sauces at choice (optional) Cut one of the ciabattas in half, as if you were making a sandwich. Remove both the top & the bottom of the second one, leaving a squared slice about 3-4 inch tall. That will become your central slice of bread. Warm 1 spoon of olive oil in a pan & gently pan fry onion & bell pepper for 7-8 min. Place a spoon of oil in a grill pan over high heat & grill the zucchini for about 3 min per side, or until the brown marks start to appear. Place the minced “meat” in a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients for the patties and stir well to combine, until the mix gets a nice and dark meaty color. When ready, place the pan fried onion & bell pepper in the bowl and stir again. Place half of the mix onto a chopping board & shape it into a rectangular, flat form with a flipper. The patty should be as large as the ciabatta, so use one of the slices of bread as a measurement for it. Repeat with the 2nd part of the minced “meat”. Place a spoon of oil in a large pan & carefully move the patties into it. Being so large they might fall apart so lift them gently with the help of two flippers. Cook the patties about 5 min per side, or until nicely brown and slightly crispy. Make sure the minced “meat” is cooked inside and not only outside. Place the vegan cheese & milk in a small pot & cook over low heat until the cheese has melted. Start composing your burger by placing the bottom of the ciabatta on a plate, top with the kale, then 1 of the patties, 1/2 of the melted cheese & the tomato. Add the middle slice of bread, zucchini & onion, then top with the second patty and finally the remaining melted cheese & the leftover slice of bread & serve. #bestofvegan

ONDE ONDE PELANGI by @trisulistijani.2908 serve 26 pcs Bahan Kulit : 250 gr Tepung ketan 50 gr Kentang kukus, haluskan 65 gr Gula pasir halus 1/2 sdt Garam 175 ml Air hangat 100 gr Wijen Pewarna makanan merah, kuning, biru dan ungu (sesuai selera) Air untuk pencelup Minyak untuk menggoreng Bahan Isi Kacang Ijo : 200 gr Kacang hijau kupas, rendam selama 1 jam 150 gr Gula pasir (bs dikurangi bila dirasa terlalu manis) 1/2 sdt Garam 175 ml Santan kental (santan instan 65ml+air) 1 lbr Daun pandan Cara buat : Isi : 1. Kukus kacang hijau sampai matang 2. Rebus santan, gula pasir, garam dan daun pandan aduk2 terus sampai mendidih. Matikan api dan dinginkan 3. Campur kacang hijau dengan santan, lalu blender sebentar hingga halus. 4.Tuang dalam teflon, tambahkan daun pandan, lalu masak sambil diaduk-aduk hingga kalis. Angkat dan dinginkan. Bentuk bulat, dengan berat @ 10 gr. Sisihkan Kulit : 1. Campur tepung ketan, kentang halus, gula pasir halus dan garam, aduk sampai tercampur rata. Tuang air hangat sedikit demi sedikit sambil diaduk/diuleni hingga adonan kalis dan licin 2. Bagi adonan menjadi 4 bagian, masing2 beri pewarna sesuai selera. Uleni lagi hingga warnanya merata. 3. Ambil sedikit adonan masing2 warna @ 20gr bentuk bulat lalu pipihkan. 4. Beri isian dan bulatkan lagi sampai isinya tertutup rapat. Lakukan hingga semua adonan habis. 5. Celupkan adonan dalam air, lalu guling2kan di wijen, bulat2kan lagi perlahan agar wijen melekat sempurna 6. Panaskan minyak goreng dengan api sedang, lalu goreng onde onde sambil di aduk2 sampai mengapung dan matang. Angkat dan tiriskan. Onde onde Pelangi siap disajikan. . #anekaresepkuetutorial

En un cazo pequeño pero que quepan las cuatro peras ponemos los dos tipos de vino junto al azúcar, la canela, los clavos, el limón y las vainas de cardamomo partidas para que suelten las semillas. Colocamos las peras dentro y llevamos a ebullición. Cuando empiece a hervir bajamos a fuego medio durante 15-20min en función de como queramos la textura de la pera. Pasado el tiempo, sacamos las peras y colamos el caldo, lo volvemos a poner en el cazo y llevamos a fuego fuerte durante 5 minutos. Esto es para que reduzca y caramelice un poco, hay que vigilar, si reduce demasiado se convertirá en caramelo, la textura una vez frio es mas espesa que en caliente

Restaurant number 148: @vuiskitchen And we’re back! Sorry for the delay folks, sometimes wallets and waistlines can get in the way of this delicious eating out experiment :) Back on track though, we headed to Vui’s Kitchen for some tasty Vietnamese food. Everything was incredibly fresh, made on the spot and full of flavor. My (Stephanie) entrée was the special of the day; shrimp and green papaya salad with a sweet and spicy fish sauce that was perfect for this hot summer weather. We also tried the summer rolls (which can be made with shrimp or tofu!) and a noodle bowl too, both of which were great. You’ll definitely find us back again just as soon as it’s chilly and time for pho!
