And now I’ll do what‘s best for me. 🌻 Yesterday my spin class was cancelled and what a blessing. Went into the exercise room instead, grabbed a mat, two blocks and a strap and did 90 minutes of yoga and worked on poses I haven’t worked on in awhile. It was one of the best practices I had by myself ever. Can’t describe it, but those 90 minutes were absolute bliss and happiness. Yoga peeps will be able to relate, I‘m sure. Later I bought myself a journal, because I want to annotate my mood to get some clarity on why my mood goes up and down so rapidly. I read a bit about it and think I am on to something. I really don’t want to stay victim to that emotional rollercoaster any longer. Day 3 of #AloReadyForSummer is a Hipopener. I combined it with an armbalance but I really felt that the hipopening part is much harder than the balance part in Grasshopper Pose (Maksikanagasana). Which is also why I struggle much more on the left side as my hip is more stiff and I simply cannot get it open and high enough to even get into this arm balance 🙈 It is also a deep spinal twist and add that to the core, balance and hipopener elements - truly a whole body and mind engaging asana 🧘 . 🌟Theme: a new place I'd like to visit. There was a point in my life where my hair was thinning, my skin wasn't great, tummy was bloated, and I felt energetically off. _ I was a vegetarian who ate all her greens and drank her water. I was doing the "good for me" things. _ If I went to the doctor, I was the picture of health. No issues to merit a prescription. _ Finally, I started to pay attention to Ayurveda.
