How do you handle your emotions? What about the tougher ones - grief, fear, sadness, loneliness, anger, disdain, disappointment, stress? There are no right or wrong ways to handle your emotions, every situation and every person is different. I personally, tend to keep things bottled up until if becomes almost too much. Is that healthy or beneficial to my well being? Absolutely not and I recognize this. I recognize that sometimes I don't carry my negative emotions well. Can you recognize how your carrying yourself? What are your triggers? What are your patterns? How do you reconcile? I tend to reach out to my support system, practice yoga or go for a walk with my dog and a good playlist. 🦋 Life will constantly throw curveballs at you and test you. It's how you overcome those obstacles and difficulties and how you carry yourself afterwards, despite all of your negative emotions. Life is hard, sometimes it feels like we're drowning and there's no way up - But there ALWAYS IS. eek, I did it again! I tweaked my neck doing a headstand. Its not too bad though and I’m hopping it will feel better by tomorrow. I was so focused on getting the pose I forgot to be mindful of the head, neck, etc. I rarely do headstands but when I do I try to put a lot of pressure on my shoulders so my head isn’t taking on much weight. But if i practice too long my arms get tired and then my head takes all the weight. And I worked arms/shoulders this morning so that didn’t help. . . I just need to get better at pincha then I can practice all the new poses in pincha instead! . .
