I always love to work on hanumanasana/splits. It’s all in the hips and hamstring, exactly what my body craves. Here is a 8 min sequence trimmed down to 2. If you try this out take as long as you need in the poses, even flow through a few times. The body will need to be warm to get into the intense asana. Tenho um desafio da semana para todos vocês: Começarei um detox no meu corpinho. De vez em quando é bom dar uma limpada né? . Iniciarei fazendo um dia de Jejum seguido de apenas sucos. Depois introduzirei sopas mantendo o jejum pela manhã e os sucos, depois frutas e encerro a semana "podendo" também com saladas. Como se eu cortasse e depois colocasse os alimentos aos poucos com muito mais consciência e inteligência. . Não tem qualquer embasamento científico, faço porque me sinto bem. Quando passo muito tempo comendo coisas pesadas, carregadas, sinto essa necessidade. . Não me falta energia pra seguir com minha vida e parece que limpa tudo, sabe? . From Tadasana, press down through your right foot, grounding through all four corners of your feet. Bring your left knee toward your belly. Reach your left arm inside the thigh, cross it over the front ankle, and hold the big toes with your first and second finger. If your hamstrings are tight, hold a strap looped around the left sole or keep your knee bent and hold your knee with your left hand. Firm the front thigh muscles of the standing leg, and press the outer thigh inward. Extend the left leg forward and straighten the knee as much as possible. If you're steady, swing the leg out to the side. Check in with the toes on your standing leg that they are still pointed towards the top of the mat. Breathe steadily; breathing takes concentration, but it helps you balance. Hold for 30 seconds, then swing the leg back to center and lower the foot to the floor. Repeat on the other side for the same length of time.

This week’s pose tip is Upward Facing Dog - Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (OOrd-vah MOO-kah SVAH-nah-sah-nah) - an amazing pose to open your shoulders, chest, spine and abdomen. • Arms should be completely vertical with shoulders over wrists, thighs engaged fully and slightly raised away from the floor, shoulder blades together and drawn down the back. Press your feet firmly into the floor. • It’s common to have the hands out front of the shoulders on the floor, which can likely be the initial cause of all sorts of problems in this pose. It will increase your likelihood of overdoing the bend in your lower back, take away your ability to use your legs effectively and strongly, and also make it more difficult for you to hold your shoulders in the correct alignment, bringing them up to towards your ears. • This is the backbend that most yogis will practice the most frequently of all, so be meticulous in your approach. Ask questions. Der Fisch ist da. Nach dem gestrigen Vollmond ist die Sonne nun heute auch angekommen. Der Fisch, das Haus 12 steht der Jungfrau und daher dem Haus 6 gegenüber. Der Fisch fügt das an Teilen, was die Jungfrau fein säuberlich seziert hat, wieder zusammen zu einem Ganzen. Der Fisch steht für das tiefste Wasser (gehört mit dem Krebs und dem Skorpion zu den 3 Wasserzeichen), für unsere Phantasie und Vorstellungskraft, für unsere Kreativität, Musik u.v.m. Bezüglich des Anusara Yoga finde ich diese Fisch-Jungfrau-Achse besonders interessant, weil der Anusara Yoga ebenfalls eine sehr technische Seite hat (die Ausrichtungsprinzipien, Loops, die Präzision im Allgemeinen) und aber auch den Fluss des Vinyasa Flow, in dem Bewegung und Atem sich durchdringen und zu einer Einheit werden. Der Vinyasa-Anteil wird in den kommenden 4 Wochen im Vordergrund stehen, um die Polarität aber besser zu verstehen, werden einzelne Haltungen im Detail studiert. Ciao da Chandra! Dopo aver visto cosa fare per sciogliere le tensioni a livello di cervicale e spalle grazie allo yoga oggi vi mostriamo una tecnica di auto-massaggio per contrastare le contratture in queste zone. Le tensioni muscolari accumulate durante l’arco della giornata a livello del collo e delle spalle possono infiammare i tessuti profondi del tratto cervicale e causare dolore. Ma forse non sai che basterebbe eseguire giornalmente alcuni semplici esercizi di rilascio miofasciale servendosi di una comunissima pallina da tennis per sciogliere queste tensioni muscolari e prevenire il dolore prima che si trasformi in cervicalgia.
