Anahata Chakra "The Heart Chakra" merupakan Chakra ke empat yang di mana Chakra ini merepresentasikan bentuk unconditional love untuk diri kita dan orang-orang di sekitar kita. The Heart Chakra merupakan pusat emosi sehingga selama backbend dilakukan, tubuh kita akan melepaskan energi negatif seperti kemarahan serta kesedihan. . REPOST from @kathrynbruniyoung Asymmetrical cat and cow is my favourite movement right now. Hands off centre, or one hand elevated gets my ribcage moving in the best ways. Inspired by a PRI course I took in January and my SI joint course with @julesyoga there are so many options out there, sometimes we need to just try one. - And if I’m going to try one asymmetrical pose I might as well try a few right? Do you do this? Take a move and make drastic changes to it? If you haven’t tried the asymmetrical cat cow yet I highly recommend it, stay a moment, breathe into those ribs, ahh it’s like your whole body is breathing. Perfect for a Sunday to calm things down.

Today our students went for their excurtion to Kunjapuri Temple to meet The Sun on its rise. Even though the students did not get to see the view in its full glory, but they did end up getting a valuable lesson from life. Which is - Life is how it is is, and we suffer mentally because of our expectations from life. Life will not always go as per plan, even if you plan everything to perfection. Sometimes it is just wise to surrender and flow with life. And our students did just that. The practice of yoga helps the students to discover the radiance of the sun which is inside all of them. Mascha is another one of our gems! Her knowledge of yoga is amazing and she lives it in every moment. Here is her story. “I attended my first yoga class just shortly after I had turned 26, while working in the education industry. I did my brief research on benefits of yoga and hoped it would help me deal with stress at work, insomnia and inability to calm the mind. Well, it did much more than I had imagined! From the age of around 19 I had experienced a series of micro-strokes which would leave the right side of my body temporarily paralysed and my speech distorted. I also suffered from migraines and fatigue, my immune system was weakened, my hormones were out of balance, and I have had digestive issues all my life, too. With the help of my wonderful teachers, yoga, alongside with the teachings of Ayurveda, has helped me look deep within, improve my health and rid of the many conditions I was suffering from by strengthening and cleansing my physical body and the mind. The whole process has been organic, although I dove in deep from the first yoga class I had attended! I had a very strong innate feeling of familiarity from the first time on my yoga mat, and naturally found myself drawn into various aspects of yogic philosophy, physiology of the human body, conscious living and holistic nutrition. The shift has happened together with my immersion into yoga. I became a yoga teacher because through my experience I have found that yoga can heal people and transform their lives. I have strong passion for sharing this discipline with those around me and I know that EACH and absolutely EVERY PERSON in the world will benefit from practicing yoga!” Inspiring!
