Måste säga att min son är ett riktigt geni. ❤️ Inte nog att han springer som en gud men han har lyckats göra mig intresserad och faktiskt följa ett springprogram som han har gjort åt mig. . Själv hatar jag att springa på tid, backträning (känns som att jag är med Biggest looser!det är okristligt tungt) och inte att tala om så kallade intervaller. Herre gud! Det är ju nog tungt att lufsa runt i ett behagligt tempo 😅 Men, idag sprang tanten intervall eller som den kloka sonen kallade fartlek istället. Bara det är ett steg i rätt riktning. 🥳 Så istället för att springa snabbt nån speciell tid och ta det lugnt i omgångar skulle jag sätta på en bra spellista, jogga/gå under verserna och springa snabbt under refrängerna! . . . I have a confession to make. I hurt my right hip a couple of months back. Today after working in it and being very gentle with my BESTFRIEND. It released a little. #Malasana is the pose for day three of #PinchALOveandunderstanding and is one that I both love and get slightly frustrated with. ⁣ ⁣ It’s mostly one I love, but I have fairly short Achilles, which makes it difficult to maintain this pose very well without adjustments. Which shouldn’t bother me (and *usually* doesn’t). When I think of a root of a plant I think of it’s foundation. If a plant is uprooted it is unable to bloom and grow. Sorta like us, if we aren’t able to stand firmly with strength and confidence how do we grow? When the root is out of balance it effects your confidence, your sense of security, your instinctive nature. Let’s get grounded. Take a walk in nature, plant your feet in grass, shit hug a tree just get centered. There’s different ways to balance the root chakra so let’s get started. ROUTINES// . . Reassessing & renewing daily routines is part of a radical self-care practice. Routines are a good thing as long as we don’t get stuck in them forever. They work for us for a time or season, then we reevaluate and tweak what needs updated. . . Routines create a rhythm in our life, a pace of our day-to-day. And sometimes we’re off rhythm... If we’re paying attention to our present moment experience (mindfulness), we will notice when we’re off rhythm. Then we have an opportunity to make a change and get ourselves back into tune. . . My yoga practice routine needed updated & upgraded. Since my teacher training I’ve become a bit complacent with my home practice. My rhythm has been off for a while but I’ve just recently noticed. So I’m practicing what I preach & pulling into radical self-care to shift what no longer works for me. More consistent practice is on its way and I already feel the change in my body!🙌🏽 . . Funny how our body lets us know when we are neglecting it. When/where we need to focus on it. Sometimes we get so consumed with wanting to be there for everyone we forget the most important person. Taking in others energy and issues leaving us drained and unable to do for ourselves. Can’t pour into others cups if yours is empty. So don’t forget about YOU!!! For me, when I need that replenishment I start off with root work!!! Getting grounded, bringing back that strength and bringing ME back to life!! So here’s part of my morning flow to assist in balancing my root chakra. I’m big on Crystal Energy/ Healing so I had 1 of my favorite crystals (Carnelian) close by to also aid in restoring vitality and energy. *message of the day* Always lead with Love, making sure love of self is top priority!! 💜💜
