Fun Fact Time ✨⠀ I Have Hyper Flexible what ?.....⠀ ⠀ There's a hint in this photo...⠀ It's my elbows. And no this doesn't make me better at yoga, it actually makes me worse. I am forever overextending my arms thinking that they're straight when actually they're just doing funky things like this so it’s something I always have to keep a check on. My pose in the photo is not perfect but that’s ok. You don’t need get your head or chin to the floor. It is ok if your toes and knees turning in a bit. Listen to your body and letting go any ego, support your head on the blocks to relax the neck. Especially be mindful if you have hamstring or groin pull or tear, lower back injury or herniated disk.

I am a total newbie when it comes to it because my balance and flexibility is 🙈 but one of my goals this year is to be able to do a split! Ist dir auch so kalt? Wie wäre es mit einer wärmenden Yogaeinheit, die deine Muskeln aktiviert und stärkt und dich dennoch entspannt und glücklich zurück lässt? Viele denken, dass Yoga etwas sei, wo man nur herumliegt, nicht wirklich körperlich in Aktion ist. Dabei kann Yoga mindestens genauso anstrengend sein, wie eine Einheit in einem herkömmlichen Fitnesscenter. Es kommt eben immer darauf an, wie man seine Yogapraxis gestaltet und welche Asanas, also Yogaübungen, ausgewählt werden. Mit Hilfe von Yoga kannst du all deine Muskeln kräftigen und deiner Seele dabei etwas sehr Gutes tun. Wusstest du, dass der menschliche Körper über mehr als 600 verschiedene Muskeln verfügt? Sie alle wollen, am liebsten täglich, gebraucht und gefordert werden. Ein Muskel, der sein Dasein unbenutzt fristet, verkümmert, genauso wie deine Topfpflanze eingeht, wenn du sie nicht regelmäßig gießt. Muskeln sind die Hauptwärmeproduzenten in unserem Körper, nicht das Fett, wie manch einer denken könnte. Und sie verbrennen auch die meiste Energie. Wenn du also einen hohen Muskelanteil hast und diesen durch Sport und Bewegung nutzt, verbrennst du mehr Kalorien. Und dir wird richtig schön warm. Womit der Bogen zur Einleitung nun geschlagen ist 😉 Der stärkste Muskel ist übrigens der Kiefermuskel und der mit der meisten Ausdauer der Herzmuskel.
