Many reasons why this posture make me feel sooo strong and empowered: You are lifting the chest, relaxing the neck, bringing the energy from the Mother Earth - such strong bandhas work required here. An old photo shoot taken at the yoga studio where I was posing for their FB page. I think this was around 2012. I was thinking of becoming a yoga teacher at the time, but glad I didn’t pursue it. Being a strong practitioner of an art and being able to teach that art are two different things. The same is true of fine art. I don’t see myself regurgitating out of a textbook and I don’t think I can teach the art that I do, as it’s completely intuitive. While there may be some folks who can skip around a bit, we have really found that this order is great for beginners who need to learn the proper patterning first, and progress to more challenging variations over time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you prefer to place front squats after back squats, that’s cool! For us, we progress from goblet to kettlebell to zercher, and all of them are front loaded. That means the front squat is a very natural progression for us because it’s also front loaded. A front squat can “feel” harder than perhaps a back squat; however, it’s a better fit for us in this slot to teach in this manner if you look at the overall progression.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s also important to note that not everyone will go through this full list! Plenty of folks will stay on the top line forever and that’s totally fine! Whether it’s due to previous injury, mobility restrictions, or simply not having interest in working with a barbell, it’s not uncommon to stick with variations early on this spectrum! As long as you continue to progressively overload (add weight over time) you will still see great results and progress!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We hope this helps you out! I really like to work on mobility & strengthening of the body . Today -HIPS ☝️ . Let’s find minimum three different reason for that: . ✅First - it is important for our health ( for woman especially ☝️), if our hips are weak, our lumbar spine can take all the pressure to compensate. What potentially (can) create problem in our back after . ✅Second - since you have good mobility and flexibility in your hips you can feel yourself much more light, because this way you release the energy, which can be stuck there. Did you mention maybe when in the class of yoga some people start to be very 😭 emotional? It often happens when classes include a lot of hips mobility & flexibility exercise ✅Third - it is simply just nice and healthy - to control your body move and to move with consciousness in any direction you need . Like the Yin and the Yang, @myhoame offers two meditation room: Dark and Light. I teach regularly in the light. This week I find myself in the dark teaching Dark 60 and Essentials. Essentials is specifically designed for beginners to learn core meditation skills.
