REFLECTING and RECHARGING 🙏🏻💙. I realised recently how far Yoga has took me down the Path. Certain things, like loved ones, are forever keepers but its liberating and refreshing to be able to shed everything else (stuff, my massive ego, baggage of all sorts) and travel light for the journey. I am thrilled to have August away for two weeks to pursue my Advanced Teacher Training with @ambrasana and thereafter weeks of doing nothing with the family in 🇮🇹 . ✨ ... I am so happy that I will be assisting Amanda tmr and next Thurs 6pm at Indaba. Will be lovely to catch up before I go yogis 🙏🏻✨💖. Otherwise see you in September! ✌🏻@amanda.denton.yoga @indabayoga

💗 I used to be in a dark place. I was scared of using my body because I was so injured and sick, I was scared of spending any money because I was in such a scarcity mentality, and I was scared to live life. Now that I have my health back and I have change my mindset I feel like anything is possible, and the difference in my quality of life is indescribable! Given the right tools the body and mind can heal from anything. (The answer, by the way, is always plants - either in diet, essential oils, supplements, actually plants giving off good energy in your house, connecting with the earth, etc). This world NEEDS you to shine your light. The things around us are good, and can provide temporary comfort, but ultimately, we are the universe of particulate form, and we manifest our own destiny when practicing non-attachment/surrender. We enter these bodies to learn certain lessons and once we realize that and we can rise and share our talents with the world. People need your magic. Asking for help (pt 2) 💕 I think taking this attitude to different parts of your life can be helpful. Reaching out to others is so important but we can also be supported in other ways. In yoga for example, many people don’t want to use props. Almost as if using the prop is a failure, instead they fight with the posture, creating more internal frustration, unable to find that balance between challenge and ease. In reality showing yourself some kindness and accepting where your body is right now will probably get you closer to your goals and cause a lot less frustration in the process. It allows you to focus more on your experience rather than the end point, bringing you back to the true benefits of yoga. Unintentionally, it may help physically by not pushing the body past its limits it is more likely to work with us, and we can use what we learn to move more effectively so over time we do see physical ‘progress’ but we also gain mentally this way too!
