STAYCATIONING 😍😍😍 .. .. This year I have chosen to take our holidays in the UK. And I actually mean ‘we’ but I tend to make the holiday decisions for my bf and I 🤣 #whipped. We’ve both been abroad for business stuff this year and thought to ourselves, why not do some long weekends away in the UK? Reducing carbon footprint, reducing travel time, and opening our eyes to what the UK has were the main benefits!!! 💕💕.. .. Although I’m no zero plane angel.... I am off to do a teacher training in Thailand next month as it was the exact course I wanted to go on and have to admit, with the days getting shorter and colder, studying in a Thai Island was appealing 😝😜 .. .. So where have we been in the UK??This year we’ve been to Essex (pictured), Purbecks, Isle of Wight, Devon, Norfolk, Cotswolds and I can honestly say these trips have just been as magical experiences as our 2 years backpacking across continents, kind of wish I’d been more open to staycationing in the UK earlier 😋 .. .. Next year we have more UK trips planned including West Wales, Isle of Skye, Lake District .... 🏔⛺️🌲🌳.. .. According to mythology, When the time had come for the creation cycle, it is said that from the navel of Lord Vishnu, the lotus flower bloomed. And the petals opened up to reveal Lord Brahma, the god of creation. Life cant come out of nothingness and for that very purpose Lord Brahma was required to bring about the change, because Lord Shiva was there for destruction and Lord Vishmu for preserving. What is the purpose /significance of the lotus and what are we to take from it? Well for me is about being grounded, opening up, trusting, a sense of security. The idea of creation is a new you, a different you, i cant begin to describe how the lotus pose has helped emotionally, I'm such a hyper soul and it takes me a long time to let go of my thoughts, so the idea of Lord Brahma, coming out of a lotus flower when it's time for a new cycle of creation, is like me learning to let go of certain inhibitions and fears. Yes hurdles come along the way, but that's to make you stronger (bloom like the lotus from muddy water) When I'm emotionally disturbed I find it harder to sit in it but now I can sit through it anyway. I remember when I started practicing this pose, I used to feel all choked up, and feel my body heat go up and start sweating and I'd start feeling like, omg what's happening, my mind would fight and I'd be so restless that I couldnt sustain a minute 😅 well how times have changed and now I can sit for 10-15 minutes, secretly i wish to sit a little longer hehe (Personal choice) I still have some emotional blocks that I need to overcome but I will take it one day at a time, do the best I can. The poses I'm doing here are padmasan, baddha hasta (hands grabbing big toe) and Lolasana. ¡Hoy les hablamos del yoga Postnatal! 😀 🙏 La maternidad es una experiencia única de crecimiento. Es una etapa de gran transformación en la vida de una mujer. Las clases de yoga postnatal te permiten compartir experiencias con otras madres y también seguir tu practica de yoga. Practicaremos Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, un Yoga dinámico que potencia fortalecer y flexibilizar el cuerpo como también aportará relax y paz mental. La clase de postparto permite regalar a su cuerpo el movimiento que necesita después de un embarazo con ejercicios para recuperar el suelo pélvico, la energía y el equilibrio. No hace falta tener una practica previa de yoga para ir a clases de yoga postnatal. Son clases diseñadas para que cada madre se sienta bienvenida con su bebé y pueda practicar con él a su lado. En Yoga con Gracia creemos que es importante la conciliación familiar con las diferentes actividades que realizamos en nuestro día a día. 🧡 Yoga postparto con su bebé es una clase abierta a todas las mamás después de la cuarentena (40 días), y hasta los 6 meses más bien cuando el bebé empieza a gatear. Se tiene que esperar 3 meses si fue por cesárea. MY YOGA STORY . . My interest in yoga was stirred by the growing realisation that niggling injuries were becoming more frequent and taking longer to recover from and when it was noted, during an employer medical, that my muscular skeletal health could be improved. . Fortuitously, the addition of a beginners’ yoga class at my gym, at the beginning of the year, provided me with the opportunity to give it a go.
