balancing your body upside down is hard. twisting your body while balancing upside down is harder. working ab compression by tucking those legs while twisting your body while upside down is…well, that crap is hard. ⠀ but it’s oddly fun. ⠀ ⚠️WARNING: blathering up ahead. read on if you’re starting or struggling with inversions, or you’re just curious. or you just love to read my blathering. OTHERWISE just comment & tell me what you’re eating for lunch or dinner today. i need ideas. . . . . i used to hate inversions, by the way. hated that blood rushing to my head, which made my temples throb. hated the struggle & frustration of never finding balance. hated the idea of falling & breaking some essential body part. ⠀ 🙃 the biggest first step i had to take was face the fear of falling. practicing against a wall helped a ton. also learning how to tuck & roll or cartwheel out if i start to go timberrrr. ⠀ 🙃 then came building strength & muscle memory. just the act of going upside down on a regular basis, even if it’s for a minute every other day or so. ⠀ 🙃 with that came finding alignment in balance. discovering where to stack my hips over my shoulders while pushing the ground away beneath me. ⠀ 🙃 and then playing along the way, learning to breathe through it all, and enjoying the process. oh, and soon enough my head stopped throbbing while upside down too. eventually it was like “hm, okay, this is alright.” 🤷‍♀️😆 ⠀ ⠀ it’s still an ongoing process, obviously. it always is & always will be. but that’s what makes it so funnnn. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #practiceandalliscoming #myyogajourney #practicenotperfection #inversion

🙏🏻 ANJALI MUDRA 🙏🏻 I had a conversation with @imcait the other day about how we both agree, mudras are kind of silly...but also, they definitely aren’t. By this I mean, simply pressing your palms together but still thinking about your dinner or what you’re going to wear tomorrow ISN’T going to give you enormous spiritual awakening but, if it’s done with intention, mindfulness and control.. it really can work! You have to be present with your mudra and really believe it, feel the energy it gives you✨ I personally feel it’s less about your hand placement and more about having that intention, that thing to focus on before we inevitably get distracted again! Why not give it a try? it’s perfect to do in the morning before that first cup of tea 🙏🏻 3 SPACES LEFT for tonight’s beginner class @ Peak Physio and Fitness! Message me for more details!

Amikor az ember lánya rájön, hogy a rendszeres mozgás (bármilyen) csakis pozitívan tud visszahatni...teljesen egyértelművé válik, hogy törött lábbal, kórházból szabadulás után pár nappal már neki is áll újra mozogni! 🤸‍♀️ Teljesen természetes számomra, hogy újra jógaszőnyeg, hajladozás, hullámzás, lélegzés, erősítés, elengedés. Annyi csak, hogy azt használom, amim van, ami mozog. Az ászanákat az új helyzethez alakítom és van, hogy csak egyik oldalra tudok megcsinálni valamit. 😊 De ugyanolyan jól tud esni, mint bármikor! Az egy gondom csak az, hogy ritkán vettem fel eddig a gyakorlásaim, mert beállítani a telefont a jó szögbe és felvenni melósabb, mint maga a gyakorlás 😂
