Monday is just another day @yogafeature with @actionjacquelyn 😬☺ Keep your body in a good shape 🙏 • Let’s @getstretchyatwork in our chest, pecs, and fronts of our shoulders, because so many of us are really getting STUCK in bad postures and ending up in lots of PAIN!!! 🔥😫🔥 Your muscles begin to adapt to the positions you mostly stay in, i.e. slouching! so take care of your body and MOVE throughout your day to reverse the negative effects of sitting and slouching. 🙌🏽⚡️ During your work day, get up, find a wall, and walk over to it and do this stretch. No one will think you’re weird 😉 invite your coworkers to do it with you! It’ll be fun :) Overtime, doing this a few minutes each day will drastically change you from someone who experiences a lot of discomfort and fatigue to someone who is proactive, energized, and pain free! 👩🏼‍💻. • Directions: 🔸 Stand or kneel to a corner wall. 🔸 Raise elbows up to shoulder height, making 90 degree angles with your elbows and place them on a wall. 🔸Slowly walk yourself forward into the corner of the wall, moving gently with your body, not forcing anything. 🔸 Do this stretch for 30 seconds - 2 minutes. 🔸 Breathe deeply in and out through your nose. 🔸 Sit up tall, and pull navel to spine. • #yogaatwork #yogafam #yogaflow #yogapose #yogainspiration #yoga #yogafeature #yogaeveryday #yogaday #yogaeverydamday #yogachallenges #yogaeverydamnday #yogaforeveryone #yogaforbeginners #yogaforlife

Then adding in these 12 poses that prepare your hamstrings and body for Compass Pose. Hold everything for 8-10 breaths, or longer. One thing to add: always aim to keep spine long by lifting the centre of the chest (baby cobra spine in upper back).

Today’s post we @getstretchyatwork! Reduce Back Pain by Improving Your Posture!! ‼️ Do these simple exercises to move out of pain, and strengthen your spinal muscles. This will take you less than 5 minutes to do. Plus it’ll boost your mood!! 😁 Tag your work buddy!. .... 1️⃣ Lay flat on stomach, with wrists by ribs, palms flat on ground, forehead on ground, legs straight back behind you. 2️⃣ IMPORTANT: Hug elbows into the midline of your body to activate back muscles. 3️⃣ Pull belly in to spine 4️⃣ Reach energetically through the crown of your head to lengthen your entire back side 5️⃣ Inhale, then exhale and draw shoulders down your back and out of your ears as you lift the crown of your head up. 6️⃣ Do the different variations i show here (hands on floor, hands floating, then cactus arms), hold for 3-5 breathes in each pose, do 1-3 rounds of each pose. 7️⃣ Then watch this video all the way through to learn how TO NOT do this exercise. ..... So first off, it’s important to make sure you’re warmed up before. • WARM UP 1. Gentle backbends: Low lunge with hands interlocked behind the back, low & high cobra 2. Quad stretches: Hero or reclined hero pose, quad stretch in low lunge or pigeon 3. Deeper backbends that stretch the anterior (front) deltoid: Reverse tabletop or plank, bow, bridge • GET INTO THE POSE 1. Kneel on your mat with your knees & feet hip-width apart, with shins parallel. Your toes can either be pointed or tucked under. 2. Place your hands on your lower back and lengthen your tailbone to the floor. Push your hips and thighs forward while leaning back, keeping the chin tucked slightly to the chest. 3. To go deeper, extend one arm at the time to grab on to each heel, with the thumb outside and four fingers inside the heel (you shouldn’t have to rotate your arm at all – just move the hands down from the lower back straight to the heels). Then drop the head back to a point that doesn’t strain the neck. 4. Keep pushing your hips and thighs forward until the thighs are perpendicular to the floor and shoulders stack over the heels. 5. To come out, place one hand at a time on the lower back for support, then lift to straighten the spine. • TIP: FOR LOWER BACK TIGHTNESS/COMPRESSION If you have difficulty or feel compression in the lower back when grabbing the heels, tuck the toes under to elevate the heels, or rest your hands on blocks outside each foot. Alternatively, don’t even grab the heels – just keep your hands on the lower back and lean back. • TIP: USE THE WALL Kneel with your thighs touching the wall. Follow the above steps, leaning back only as far as you can while keeping the thighs touching the wall.

Ооооомммм. Зачем мы поем мантру ом на занятиях йогой, и как это влияет на мозг. ❓Часто люди, пришедшие на занятие йогой, опасаются петь мантру «ом», уточняют цель и смысл такого начала практики. Потому я решила кратко написать вам об этой чудесной мантре. По порядку. Слово «мантра» произошло от первых слогов двух слов: Ман (ум) и Траяте (освобождение). Универсальной, изначальной мантрой, из которой возникло всё мироздание, считается «ом». Согласно ведам, звук «ом» был первым проявлением неявленного ещё Брахмана, давшим начало Вселенной, произошедшей от вибрации, вызванной этим звуком. Три его составляющих (А, У, М) символизируют Создание (Брахман), Поддержание (Вишну) и Разрушение (Шиву). Считается также, что три звука символизируют: 🔱 три уровня существования — рай, землю и подземное царство.🔱 три состояния сознания - грезу, сон и явь, 🔱 три способности человека - желание, знание и действие. Теперь спущу вас на землю и простыми словам проясню практический эффект пропевания «ом». За счёт пропевания звука «о» мы разогреваем связки, дыхание, а долгое «м» создаёт вибрацию в придаточных пазухах, которая доходит до гипофиза🧠. Так мы стимулируем его работу, что влияет почти на все функции организма (улучшает работу всей эндокринной системы, стимулирует иммунитет и обменное процессы мозга). Про гипофиз найдите в интернете, там масса информации о его значении. Итого пропевание «ом»: 🌀Проясняет и успокаивает ум. 🌀Раскрывает энергетические каналы. 🌀Усиливает жизненную энергию. 🌀Расслабляет и позитивно влияет на нервную систему. 🌀Оказывает терапевтический эффект на дыхательную систему. 🌀Снимает болевые ощущения. 🌀Помогает отвлечься от мыслей и сконцентрироваться. Нет сил, перевозбуждены, заболеваете, учитесь, пришли на спортивную тренировку - практикуйте мантру «ом». Попробуйте просто сесть удобно с прямой спиной (скрестив ноги на полу, небольшой подставке или на стул), закрыть глаза, сделать глубокий вдох и с выдохом пропеть долгое «ооооооо» и затем с закрытым ртом «ммммммм». Повторите ещё дважды (всего трижды) так громко, как в данный момент хочется (можно иногда петь и про себя, но чем громче, тем больше эффект). Продолжение в комментариях
