No matter what kinda day Iโ€™ve had (and trust me, today was pretty bad) thereโ€™s one rule I always follow - I never skip a Monday. Studies have shown, and Iโ€™ve proved to myself over and over again, that by starting the week strong youโ€™re far more likely to finish it that way too..not to mention exercise releases endorphins and endorphins make you HAPPY - what better way to get over the Monday blues ๐Ÿ˜œ A decent shoulder workout done tonight - decided to treat myself to my favourite session + @gatsupplements stim-free PMP โ€˜cause thereโ€™s not much a wee shoulder pump doesnโ€™t fix ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Another brutal workout today with @stonefit1. Already sore but really happy with my strength right now! . Try this out using appropriate weight for your level of training (these weights were exactly what I did.) . SQUATS: Warmup using the bar only: 25 squats -10 Sit squats @ 95lbs (use a bench that puts you a little less than 90ยฐ when seated. Sit completely to disengage. Deep breath on the way down and other before you get up.) -then 6 reps for 135lbs x 4 sets . -1min squat burnout with 95lbs (no sitting) **every time you have to take a break, change your stance (close/reg/wide) . DEADLIFTS: 95lbs for 8 reps 135 for 6 185 for 1 205 for 1 225 for 1 235 for 1......for 3 sets!!! (8 sets total)๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ . LUNGE/HIP THRUSTER SUPER SETS: -Heavy DB step back lunges (Stall at bottom for 3sec, this engages your core) 5 each leg x 3 sets (I used 40lbs DBs) . -15 Hip thrusters with heavy resistance band (push out adduction at top of bridge. Make sure your hips are coming alllllll the way up to engage glute major.) X 3 sets . Hows your ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ feelin now?!?! ๐Ÿ˜‰ . I followed that up with a #lean1 chocolate coconut protein shake from @nutrition53 and about 20 cashews.
