Leg dayyyyyy is my favourite day 🥰 and I absolutely destroyed my legs yesterday 🔥💥 • So many people hate leg day because “it’s harder” or “it takes more work” but that’s exactly why I love it!!! 💕 I love being able to test my strength and grow my legs. I love feeling strong at work and being able to push myself to do things I wouldn’t normally do. I love being the one asked to help with certain jobs because they know I can handle it. Although I’m worrried about my day 2 DOMS because I can already feel the burn 🙈🙈 • My workout consisted of: 💥speedy squats up to a 3x5 @ 155lbs (trying to stay light so I can test maxes again in a couple weeks) 💥leg press circuit -15 reps wide stance -12 each single leg -15 high and close stance 💥single leg seated hamstring curl machine 💥paused kettlebell stiff legs with raised toes superset with 👉🏻 💥kettlebell front squats with raised heels 💥AND FINALLY some wider stance barbell stiff legs with a pulse at the bottom __________ #wannabepowerlifter

Tuesday squat session in the bag and it actually felt good , 3x3 and then 12 singles. It was only 75kg but it’s the heaviest I’ve gone using low bar💪🏻🍑, wide feet squat stance and it wasn’t to shabby, @rule13ltd might say otherwise mind you but I’m happy 😁! Pushed the weight up on my accessory work and got my cardio in at lunch time 👣. Two sets of 225x8. I told myself I had more in the tank but my body said no....think all the heavy lifting caught up with me today. Energy was -15 today and body hurt; taking this week off from heavy benching, squatting or deadlifting then we start back from ground 0 aka volume work next week. Crazy that 12 weeks went by that quick; today was the first day in those 12 weeks I didn’t have a structured plan and I was all over the place doing random stuff and I hate that feeling but it’s needed for this week. Training cycle recap Bench 270-285 Squat 405-415 Deadlift w/o straps 515-545 Deadlift w/ straps 560-585 I’m only looking to improve these numbers and keep it train moving.

Being very conservative with load, but it’s been a while so I lost balance a bit on 160, although it didn’t feel heavy. I’m also deconstructing/reconstructing my RDL, and today actually felt good. Gonna be very strict and slowly work my way up. A lil vacation workout with a limited gym! I brought my bands for this reason. . 3x20 hip thrusts 3x15 banded side walks SS w/ 3x15 banded squats 4x15 db leg curls 3x12 db shoulder press 3x15 bent over row . Other things I did not pictured 30 min run 3x20 glute bridges 2 short sprints SS w/ 15 jumping jacks . TIP 1: don’t let the resistance in your band go when doing side steps, keep it stretched the whole time! . TIP 2: if you have an arch in your back when doing shoulder presses, try them sitting down or against a wall. It means you need to work on strengthening your core! . Get it in no matter what! Plenty of things you can do even if you’re not in a gym or have your home equipment! . #IAM1STPHORM

* 6/17 Training: Upper 2 -Alternating Set- Incline Bench - 70x12,12; 65x11 (close grip); 60x12,11 (close grip) Bent Over EZ Bar Row - 62.5x9,9,9,9 (not counting rep 10 on 1st set as my knees came forward) -Alternating Set- Lat Pulldown - 47x15,15,15,11,15 (switch grips each set between supine and prone) DB Paused Lateral Delts Raise - 6x20,18,17,16 -Straight Set- Cable Flye - 8.75x24,20,14; 6.25x10 (drop after 3rd set) * Switched to close grip for bench as wider grip seems to be what’s giving my joints the dull ache. For pulldowns, supine grip hits the lats better for me, and I’m also able to use a little heavier loads, so I might stick to using supine grip again for a while. It also feels less awkward. Not gonna lie. I’m busted today and my throat is a mess, infections are not pretty ☠️. However, I’ve noticed some new lines coming through so you gotta take a pic right?? 145x2. I was feeling a bit confident after hitting 135x8 earlier without a spotter but when benching 145 I got a little scared so I stopped at 2 also was struggling a bit lol. Single at 120kg was easy, but I forgot to record it. I gave DB RDL one final honest shot... even going to max ROM, it just doesn’t feel effective. Plus 30 kg DBs are the heaviest, so I’ll need to think of something else... I thought my quads were gonna explode with leg extensions☠️ Here are the weekly weigh-in averages; it’s slow but it’s something: Week 1: 74.6kg Week 2: 73.6kg Week 3: 73.4kg Week 4: ??
