FRIDAY DEADLIFTS AND BACK On the working sets by 5.30am. Shock to the system I can tell you! Touch and go 4 x 5 at 180kg with pause at top of last rep. Then a 9RPE AMRAP 5th set of 7. Put straps on for that one. 4 x 5 at 140kg deficits. Trying to move fast. Then back, lat pull downs (had to do this by feel, the numbers had rubbed off the plates). This set of 6 was about BW, so 75kg, I put it down for other 2 sets and did 10. Bent row, at God knows what weight. 65+bar. Felt heavier then the 70s I've been doing. 140kg x 3 Easy 😎 MY advice for an awesome SQUAT and to improve to squat more weight - With squatting, I see a lot of bad form, and that shit usually looks sore 👀 Things to try or take into consideration that will make you LOVE squatting from now on!! 1️⃣. Have the weight on your upper back, resting in a spot thats not too high up and never touching your Neck! 2️⃣. When I squat, I think about pushing my bum back before my legs go down, which keeps the spine and back stable supporting Heavier weights ! 3️⃣. Go down parallel by Squatting down until your hips are lower than your knees 4️⃣. DELOAD I've been knackered and a bit slack. I should have been in training the previous couple of days but slept badly even for me Sunday and Monday night, and didn't want to put in a half-arsed attempt even on a deload week. Last night was a little better at getting to sleep, but the boy was ill, which ended up eating into 2hrs. Warmed up to 130kg 3 sets of 4. I'm keeping intensity up, but have dropped the reps by half.
