GETTING BACK ON TRACK ✨ So, for the past 3 days I’ve been in bed, dying from the flu, craving (and eating) unhealthy food, not getting my steps in and not training. Despite it only being 3 days it has really impacted how I feel about my body, I feel so bloated and big, even though if I’ve put on any weight at all it will only be a lb or two. I’m so excited to get back on track with my fitness and eating, and really step up my game because it is my 21st birthday in a month which I want to look and feel my best for 💚💚💚

#Repost @buycepsindia (@get_repost) ・・・ LEARN HOW TO DEADLIFT!! - What’s up Achievers?! @jasonlpak here and in today’s video I go over exactly how we go about coaching the deadlift to our members. Here are the key components: 🔑 Feet hip width apart 🔑 Bar over laces (not too close too shins and not too close to toes) 🔑 As you descend, don’t just think about bending your knees but also hinging your hips back 🔑 Grip the bar tight 🔑 “Wedge” yourself under the bar and get your armpits directly over the bar 🔑 Push into the floor and stand tall 🔑 Re-trace your steps on the way down. Rinse and repeat! - As far as hip position goes, all we’re looking for is for you to be somewhere in a position where your hips are *below* your shoulders (so not like an RDL) and your hips *above* your knees (so not like a squat). Anywhere between those two extremes is completely fine and dependent on the lifter. My hips tend to be on the lower side, but as you’ll notice they still stay above my knees, which is why it’s still considered a hip hinge and not a squat. - We hope this video helped you out! My legs are feeling a little tender after 9 sessions on the 🚴‍♀️ this week & trying to keep up with other training sessions too. 👟 - It’s so easy to neglect stretching. 🙅‍♀️ Some people don’t even bother at all but I can’t express how important it is & how much it helps to keep tension at bay! 🤸‍♀️Sports massages are another real helping hand 🖐, especially with the amazing @lauravan3 & foam rolling is👌! - If you’re putting your body & muscles through stress, it’s vital to keep them in check so you can continue this level of intensity. ⚡️ - Look after your body so that it can perform to its peak 💃🏽

Two of my favourite leg exercises that both work the hamstrings, quadriceps, glutes. Walking lunges work towards giving you substantial glute and hamstring development. You can do these as bodyweight only, or if you're comfortable add weight. Pistol squats, whilst working your glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps, also promotes greater core strength.
