Mais uma bela história de superação em nossa série: VIDA DE ATLETA AMADOR.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Hoje, nosso atleta: Thiago Guedes @thiagohguedes ⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ “Meu nome é Thiago Guedes, sou da cidade de Teófilo Otoni - MG.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Tenho 28 anos, sou engenheiro sanitarista e ambiental, um ex obeso que diante de um quadro grave de uma cardiopatia, fui obrigado a encarar uma cirurgia bariátrica, que foi a alternativa mais viável para um emagrecimento rápido, já que estava proibido de praticar até uma simples caminhada devido ao quadro cardiológico.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Após a cirurgia e alguns meses e alguns quilos a menos, fui liberado para a pratica de atividades mais intensas e entrei para o viciante munda da bike.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Daí com a evolução física graças ao esporte e a bike, muito peso se foi, de 140kg hoje após um ano de cirurgia estou cm 73kg.⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Resolvi então entrar para as primeiras competições. Где начинается боль - там же начинается и спорт ⠀ ⠀ Так говорят многие спортсмены, добившиеся неимоверных высот, и эта мысль стучит в моей голове почти на каждой тренировке. ⠀ Есть дни, когда нам все даётся легко, когда мы выспались, вкусно поели, отдохнули на выходных. А есть непростые дни. Не всегда они связаны с работой. Иногда это и погода и плохое настроение или вообще все вместе взятое. И тогда тренироваться всегда тяжело, лень и хочется поскорее закончить, а то и прервать тренировку. ⠀ Как часто в вашей голове звучат эти слова « все, я больше не могу, мне тяжело, ничего страшного, если пробегу не час, а 45 минут». ⠀ Как говорил Шварценеггер, «нужно преодолевать болевой порог. Как раз эти последние 2-3 или 4 повторения заставляют мышцы расти. Это отделяет чемпиона от не чемпиона». ⠀ Вот о чем, я думала, например, вчера в бассейне, где с трудом проплыла 3200, желая закончить уже после 1500. Вроде и день был не сложный, но настроения тренироваться не было. И вот я плыву, мне тяжело, но я думаю - послушай, пульс в норме, в субботу ты вообще день отдыхала, задания не такие уж и сложные, чего ты ленишься, просто греби, простые механические движения. ⠀ И тут завязывается этот диалог с самим собой и ты уже и не замечаешь, как проплыл 3 раза по 500. ⠀ Я не говорю сейчас про пограничные состояние, когда пульс за 200, что-то болит, тошнит и прочее. Тогда, конечно , надо остановиться. Но когда в целом все идёт по плану, просто ты субъективно считаешь, что тебе тяжело и ты хочешь остановиться, то именно за пределами этой черты и начинается спорт, рост, изменения. ⠀ Ещё один великий спортсмен говорил, что «вы не будете расти, если не будете пытаться совершить что- то за пределами того, что вы знаете уже в совершенстве». И это как раз про заход за вот такую черту. ⠀ Поэтому я желаю всем спортсменам сил не сколько физических, сколько моральных, потому что источник усталости не в теле, а в уме. ⠀ Ты можешь гораздо больше, чем думаешь! 💪 ⠀ #ironstar

I like the concept of competing even in training sessions, it keeps me motivated and makes me push a bit more to achieve a great result. And even though I did not manage to achieve a podium position in all three events (2nd; 4th, 1st) it is still a huge motivation to work on my skill set and to compete with others. It is inspiring to see that others – sometime 10, 15 years older than me, outrun me in a 10k race by 2 minutes or even more. Incredible to see that, I hope I will be there one day, too. As great as the group experience in the run sessions are, the same concept does not work when it comes to the bike session during the ZA Tri 2020 workouts. Here you hit an invisible wall that slows you down to keep the group together. You still have the requested watt output but the speed does not match it. Frustrating for me and thus I rather do the sessions alone and not as a group ride. The session itself – I did the Strength development one – was a good one. Next weeks will set a stronger focus on the bike and the pool – as training frequency will further increase, the bike sessions will get longer – only a bit on week days, but a bit more on weekends. In the upcoming week it will be a 2.5h session – the middle distance duration in my last race – but next week it will increase to 4.5h. Medium trainingload week ahead. Looking forward to get it done. It's meant that I've been able to up the intensity on the weights and load more weight up without feeling overly fatigued💪 . Of course, challenging yourself a little more each time you exercise is generally necessary if you’re trying to reach a specific fitness goal. But it's also worth noting the other, smaller tweaks that can improve your workout performance and, by extension, your results. One of those small things that can make a big difference is paying attention to your breathing. . Think of oxygen as a sort of fuel for your muscles. In order for you to do anything—talk, walk, exercise—you need to get oxygen to your muscles- and to get the most oxygen into the body, you need to breathe. BUT this is not simply a case of breathing more often as frequent shallow breaths can lead to feeling of exertion as actually result in lower air intake. Rather, deep, Diaphragmatic breathing, on the other hand, is your best bet for efficient, effective breathing. This specific type of breathing, engages the diaphragm muscle with every breath, involves slowly breathing in through the nose or mouth (preferably the nose), filling up your abdominal area (versus your chest) with air, and then slowly exhaling as the stomach collapses.
