ENJOY IT. here to tell you that it’s ok to take it easy. it’s ok to eat what your body is craving sometimes, even if it’s pasta for dinner 3 days in a row🤷🏻‍♀️ not going to lie, it’s been really nice just living and not being so caught up in every little thing. celebrate all the gains. no matter how big or how small. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ note to self: next time i decide to take a mirror selfie, clean the mirror first. guess i’ve been a little slack on cleaning too😜

Feb 21st: Back to the mat. I did a whole hour on this thing; really makes a difference to have a good mat. What I wanted to show on this day is how much I am having to open up my individual vertebrae, and thus shoulders, in order to open up my hips. You will see me rock my knees every now and then to release the constrictions built up behind them in order to loosen my hips, which lets my spine settle, which lets me open my shoulders more, which then creates new space in my neck (to pop). MIDWEEK MINDFULNESS So I wanted to end today by sharing with you a mindful activity that I have found incredibly beneficial over the past few months to challenge negativity and unhealthy thought processes, allowing for a lot more happiness in my life. ________________________________________ 1. Start by taking five minutes to be present as soon as you wake. Check in with your body, your mind and emotions. _____ 2. From this, acknowledge five different reasons to be thankful. Consider the justification of your gratitude. This can be as simple as "I am thankful for having a good night's rest as I can face the day full of energy". _____ 3. When you find difficulty within your day and negativity creeps in, revert back to manifesting each one of your five gratitudes, with the aim to change your thought processes. _____ 4. At the end of the day, just before sleep, reflect on those five things you have given thanks to, ready to start the process again in the morning. ________________________________________ At the beginning, the difficult part of this activity can be the amount of times you have to revert your negative thought processes to the five things your thankful for. _____ Yet, the power of positive manifestation through gratitude allows for focus to be drawn to the present moment, allowing for a healthier mind and a happier life.
