Setting myself up to do something worthwhile towards health and fitness every damn day! . It takes a whole lot of mental preparation to push yourself everyday, making goals and crushing them. Going through the motions of actually doing what you need to do is easier if your mind is in it 107%. . Not all days work in your favour so on those off days - get inspired, be inspired and find what works for you- watch videos, listen to that song, read that inspiring article, talk to a buddy, reach out to a coach, grab a buddy to work out with or drink that cuppa joe that has your name on it! What works for you works for you, so figure it out and do it. For me more often than not it’s visualization. . My mind’s eye works wonders. I think about what I need to do and how I’m going to do it. Before I actually put it into practice. Sometimes that doesn’t get the job done but I always know how hard I tried. I also know how good I’ll feel after the effort, and who doesn’t want to feel good? DO NOT go on such a harsh diet! Food boosts your metabolism and gives your body energy to burn. Going without food for too long makes your blood sugar levels dip. You must eat regularly throughout the day to maintain your energy. - ✅GET ENOUGH SLEEP! Aim for around 8 hours of sleep per night. Your body needs sleep to stay healthy. DO NOT deprive yourself of this necessity. - ✅DON’T EXERCISE TOO MUCH! Try not to burn yourself out! Most workouts can range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. However, if you find that your whole body feels sluggish and you can’t seem to feel energized, try to aim for getting out of the gym within 90 minutes. Most workouts can be finished within this time and this will help keep you from destroying your energy levels. Oh, and it’s MORE THAN OKAY to take a rest day!
