Not the heaviest squat session today but by far the best I’ve felt doing them in a long time due to thinking about what I’m doing and not getting the weight up any way possible! Finished at 135 x 1 . . . Then my conditioning was some running: 1k,800m,600m,400 & 200m with a minutes rest after each! . . . 🔥* tips to design your workout program 🔥 . Follow @dancudes . How you design your program can make or break your results. Having a plan and an end goal is paramount to your results. Firstly, you need a goal. Whether that is to build muscle, lose fat, run a marathon I don't care but you need a plan and you need to determine how long you want to take, or how long you have, to achieve it. Set a date and write it down given it is realistic. Next, we determine the workout split that allows you to get enough training volume and adheres to your schedule. I like a full body routine for most people, but even push/pull and upper/lower routines are great as they allow you to train each muscle group 2-3 times a week and allow enough days for cardio sessions and rest. We now need to determine our workout schedule, scheduling in deloads as well which I like to do every 4 to 8 weeks personally. This all becomes the skeleton to your workout program. Plugging in the actual workouts becomes a matter of adhering to the principles of progressive overload and the KISS principles. Obviously, specific exercises depends on your needs, fitness levels, and goals as training for hypertrophy and strength are slightly different in volume and intensity, but you want to train each muscle 2-3 times a week.
