Kicked week 9 off with a brutal leg day 💪🏻 ⁣ ⁣ This last phase of @amandahowellhealth’s 12 week challenge is focused on hypertrophy & volume. I’m not used to focusing on volume so I really had to force myself to lower my weights a little bit & really hit all my reps. If you’re anything like me, you’ll simply look at the table of delicious food and gain 17 pounds. 🙄 But if we can stick to these tricks this holiday, maybe we have a chance! Today we start at the beginning. Beginning as in TIP #1 and also the beginning of your day. Tip #1. Eat a healthy Breakfast! 🍳. . Start next Thursday with a healthy and satisfying breakfast. How about two eggs and toast and a side of mixed greens. Any combination that’s high in protein and fiber. You can also add a filling shake or smoothie to your breakfast. By doing this, you will be less likely to inhale your plate at dinner! Easy enough right!? I’m telling you to EAT as your first tip! Winner, winner! 🤯 Diving into week 9 (!!) of my 12 week challenge with @amandahowellhealth!⁣ ⁣ The next phase of the challenge is focused on circuits & conditioning & a little lighter weight. I’m a little nervous honestly. I started out fairly meticulous at the beginning of the challenge but towards the middle sort of slowed down as my exam approached - but still I’m very proud of myself for doing what I could during a time of such high stress! I really want to end the challenge on a good note too - I want to hit my macros, steps, & workouts every week. but even though I have more free time now I’m still struggling with motivation 😐 at the same time I also have this like compulsive need to keep hitting my same weights or better.. and a slight change in pace makes me slightly nervous 😥 I’m sure it’ll be good for me but I’m definitely going to need to keep an open mind for the next 4 weeks 😅⁣ ⁣ I’d love to know - what kind of training split are you currently focused on? It doesn't have to be hard or intense, you just have to move your bod😍 1 week post partum 4x c-section mama and I know my limits so a 3 mile walk at home in the comfort of my living room!!! Didnt have to leave the house, didnt have to get a sitter, and didnt change out of my jammies🤣 I will get back to my BOD workouts when I know my body is ready but for now I will take it slow and eat the right things while enjoying my little miss💗💖

Saturday eats brought to you by my new #mealprep method. Recently I started meal prepping by making a big patch of protein (ground turkey taco meat or instant pot shredded chicken for example). This is awesome because it doesn’t make me feel stuck eating the same thing everyday or trying to predict what I’ll want days in advance. Happy Saturday! I’m in revision mode at the moment. Term 1 of 2nd year has been a busy one but I’ve managed to keep on top of my workouts and nutrition. As I’m about to begin phase 2 i thought I’d share this lil transformation because it was one I hadn’t even noticed. These images were taken 1 month apart (1st in October and 2nd in November). Funny thing is I’ve probably done less cardio,just my usual dog walks and lifting weights,as I’ve had to spend more time on uni work! Nutrition wise, I’ve been pretty consistent and still have dessert every single night. My go to at the moment is @aldiuk low cal salted caramel ice cream, with honey Cheerios and a mini millionaires shortbread bite chopped up 🤤. Some days I have bigger dessert bowls like this others just a smaller snack. I just try and listen to my body rather than sticking to a firm meal plan and it Seems to be working 💪🏽 Do you guys have a big sweet tooth like me?
