I like to be on my toes, ring on the ring, and to combat the higher J-hooks on a comp bench, which forces me out of position on the self-unrack, I’m starting my rack height 1 lower to get used to it. And my arch was pinned tight enough that I was actually tearing my shirt, which I’m lowkey very proud of. GUYZ I’m sooooo super proud of this okay I think I got down sumo deadlift form😭 For comparison ➡️ swipe to see my deadlift from last week that I didn’t post bc my form was wack and it felt bad😪 ☑️No lifting of my butt before getting the weight up ☑️No lower back pain ☑️AND THE BEST PART, no hip pain!!!😄😄😄😄😄 I have been very frustrated and discouraged by my “progress” for this with the hip pain after every time I did it and then when I tried to avoid that, the pain would go to my lower back. Went heavyish with 2 singles at 270 (90%) So cool when an old max is now something done easily in training 😎 first rep(last vid) was kind of a grinder...that's cause I didn't pee first 😱second rep felt awesome!!(1st vid) Then had 240(80%) for a single movin like an empty bar, three count tempo squats 185x3x4 (long pause at the bottom to be a dick hehehe), and accessories. Doing heavy deadlifts on Sunday means the DOMS are real today. So that and having Aunt Flo here, errthaangg went very good!!! I haven’t uploaded any bench session in a while because my bench has been trash lately to me but today wasn’t so bad, this first clip isn’t pretty and I wasn’t going to try 305 but I did anyways when I really shouldn’t have I hit a solid 295 at an RPE of 8.5 and then this trash luckily I didn’t waste all my strength did a follow up workout to train my joints and prepare myself mentally for 3 plates which was really interesting and I’m a start implementing it into my heavy day bench, last video was a top set of 5 reps with 2 plates on barbell incline (peep gay ass @_juicejeffrey_ at the end of the video) overall solid day for bench we failed but can’t hit it everytime just gotta move on and keep working #bench
