IT'S COLD OUT THERE! ❄😨 I woke up this morning rolled out of bed onto the floor and did a #catcow 😆 no joke, I literally felt that stiff!!! Made me think about how the cold makes our muscles lose their elasticity meaning it becomes even more important to warm them up. Bit obsessed with spinal movement this week 😆 so SWIPE to see my spine warm up on the #reformer. FYI these are great to do in the morning when you usually feel most stiff...and you don't need a reformer! . . . 1. Seated flexion/extension - try sitting on a Swiss ball to promote the pelvic tilt 2. Thread the needle. Easily done from 4 point kneel position OR place hand on Swiss ball. Roll away to reach under and through. Roll towards you to reach up and back 3. Regular Cat/Cow in a 4 point kneel position will achieve very similar movement of the spine! Spiced up my Thursday Schedule with early morning BTone . . If you’ve been following my IG story you know how my commute to work has been slowly killing me. Luckily I am WFH until December 2nd! Can I get an amen??? Working from home means I can sleep in a little and do more of my favorite workout classes on the South Shore! On Thursdays I normally do Legs & Spin, so I decided to head to @btonefitnesshanover for a 7:30 am class with @12ewalton ! (I’ll spin later today). Boy did she deliver a class, at one point during Tebow, I was like the carriage isn’t moving, but I pushed myself and dug for that inner strength and got that bad boy to move in and out. I am 1000% sure I will be feeling every move tomorrow lol, just in time for 7 am class! Happy Thursday! Hace 2 años buscando donde hacer pilates y yoga después del huracán, allí en @casayogapr, a la luz de unas velitas, empezamos a sudar cariño y me enamoré de la tribu. Empecé dando las clases de #bootybarre y luego se dió la hermosa oportunidad de enseñar #Pilates en la Casa. El Pilates se ha convertido en otra de mis pasiones. . . Este año ha sido para mi uno de fuertes decisiones. De grandes cambios y de nuevos retos. De bajarme de los tacos y falda ejecutiva para dedicarme full a lo que siempre he hecho para liberar el estrés; el ejercicio, el fitness, movimiento y la danza. . . . Esta nueva etapa es para servir desde otra perspectiva, enseñar, seguir aprendiendo y creciendo como ser humano y ayudar a otros. Una gran responsabilidad que a la vez me permite llevar una vida mas simple, mas tranquila con mayor calidad de vida y mas tiempo con mi Madre que pronto necesitará un poco mas de mi. . . .
