My recovery regiment. Special shoutouts to @acumobility for the floss which helped me gain full range of motion within a day of the sprain, and @elevatehemp for helping me tackle this chronic inflammation. Adding these products in with my contrast hot/cold therapy has worked like a charm. I’m looking at being 100% for SpartanWestVirginia this weekend! 💪🏼🤘🏼 • ⚠️Flossing cautions: do not use Floss band compression if you have a vascular condition. Immediately Remove the Floss band when you feel numbness. ⚠️this exercise is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition. ANKLE MOBILITY CONTINUED . . If you tried the last ankle mobility exercise, then this is part 2 of your drill! Stretching is only as good as the strengthening exercises you implement afterwards. It’s like doing all the work to write a research paper, and then closing the document without hitting the save button. You’ve just lost all that hard work you put so much time and effort into! . . Writing research paper = stretches and mobility work Strengthening = pushing save button . . Clear as mud? Do stretches (last post) first, then immediately follow by this active exercise. Overtime, the goal is you won’t have to do these stretches everyday to reap the benefits. Your body learns this new ‘flexibility’ and keeps/uses it. . . Add weight in your hands as you tolerate. Perform 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps. Good luck!!!

Let's talk Body Image🙌 . Have you spent your whole life trying to be smaller, aware of what others might say about you, self conscious and worried about other people's opinions and thoughts?? . You can't control what other people say or think about you, that's their opinion... It doesn't mean it's a fact!! . Throughout my life so many outsiders have given their opinion on my body, the shape, giving advice on what I should or shouldn't be doing 🙄 I got to a point where I was sick of listening, tired of always trying to be 'Perfect' for everyone else and it made me unhealthy, mentally and burnt out physically. . Here's what I learnt and my advice.....YOU DO YOU 🎉 There is noone else out there like you, you are unique and noone has the same personal journey. Train how you want to, do things that fill you with happiness and excitement, eat the foods that make bring you joy 💥 . If you're tired of listening to other people's comments about your body, remember it's them not you....just look at them and tell them you're perfectly happy with yourself. Change your mindset to look after yourself and fight off any negitive comment's that are thrown your way. . Be You, Be Strong, Be Empowered...
