It’s been 2 years and about 3 weeks since our first miscarriage. Since then, we’ve had 2 more, along with a borderline positive pregnancy test last November. I don’t talk about it much. I’ve stopped reading about egg quality and the fertility diet. I can go a few days without caffeine then I indulge in a venti iced coffee. Some days I do yoga but now and then I’ll do a boot camp workout outside. Some days I wonder if this is a sign of progress. Other days it feels like I’m ignoring the problem. To the salad I added 1 Tbsp @mightyiota sunflower kernels & half a packet of the CFA avocado lime ranch dressing (SWIPE⬅️ to see it after my add-ons). • Macros for the whole meal: 700 calories, 47g fat, 10 net carbs, 39g protein. If your looking for a gym I highly suggest @athleteinc_ Did trap bar lifts which I’ve never really done. 145lbs. PR. Felt great! Warmup Low box circuit Trap bar lifts Band TKE Barbell step ups. Ended with 70lbs Which was the heaviest for me Med ball throw downs GHD ham raises. Getting so much better at this! Chin up Db row. Upped to 30lbs from 25!! BB curl 35lbs Lat pull downs Russian twist up to 25lbs DB curls. because sometimes letting go of a goal is just as healthy, if not more so, than completing it. a few days ago i found myself thinking, if my neck feels better by this day, and i run this many miles everyday, then i can still make my goal. even though i knew it wasn’t what was best for me, i was trying to find a way to make it happen, just because i set a goal. thankfully, i pretty quickly shut that 💩 down. i made a final decision that i would delay the running goal until september, and moved on. setting goals can be a really fun way to challenge ourselves, but if not approached properly, can also just leave us feeling defeated. so today i recognize that i am not failing because i can’t complete the goal i set. i’m honoring my body, and celebrating the fact i’m strong enough to walk away without feeling ashamed. #progressnotperfection #selflovejourney #thenewhealthy #bodypositivefitness

Yesterday I majorly overate and was super frustrated with myself at the end of the night. With that being said……. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m blown away by all the people who have messaged me or commented on my last post. It reminds me of one of the reasons why I made this page in the first place - to connect with others who share my same struggles. For so long I felt like I was “weird” or “wrong” for struggling with food, when in reality, SO many of us struggle with it! We shouldn’t be ashamed of it…. All we can do is try to get better, improve ourselves, take care of ourselves and find OUR version of balance. Even when times get tough, even when you fall off track, even when you don’t stick to your “plan,” DON’T GIVE UP! STAY POSITIVE! Every day (and even minute) is a new chance to make yourself proud. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So grateful for this community today and every day. Love you all 🖤
