These are videos from earlier this year. Looking back at it now I value the shape I was in and I regret not appreciating myself more. This is one of the reasons I don't have a lot of transformation pictures. It's crazy to think that although I was at my lowest BMI I used to put myself down by comparing myself to other women. • • • Being pregnant has given me a new perspective and has taught me to appreciate my body and my accomplishments. Pregnancy in combination with life circumstances sets a whole new challenge with many limitations to a woman. But instead of comparing myself to other women I now see them now as an inspiration and motivation to not be them, but to reach my full potential. • • • "Envy is the thief of joy." So don't try to be someone else, just try to be your very best. Life is already hard as it is, we need to lift each other up instead of tearing each other down. • • • • #🤰🏽 #throwbackthursday #fitness #diethacks #dealingwithhunger #weightloss #weightlosstransformation #diettips #women #womenwholift #muscle #toned #prepregnancy #beast #weight #gymmotivation #fitnessgirl #fitnessmotivation #womensupportingwomen #fitnesstransformation #fitnesslife #diet #motherhood #womensupportingwomen #sixpacks #fatlosstips #throwbackthursday #dontgiveup #howtodiet

kimberliecampbell. - Something that is working for me-

- Something that is working for me- I am meticulous about making sure I measure out foods that truly tempt me to be heavy handed. Especially peanut butter. 😝❤️ After starting to count macros, I noticed that I was consuming over 100 calories with coffee add-ins. I don’t like to waste macros on liquid, so I started tinkering with portions to keep lowering the calorie count of my morning coffee. I’ve managed to find a ratio that I enjoy without feeling like I’m sacrificing flavor. Current portions: 1 Tbs. Skinny Syrup - 0 cals 1 Tbs I.D. Creamer. ( not a fan of Coffee-mate) 35 cals 3 Tbs- coconut milk (unsweetened) about 6 calories Dash of cinnamon- 0 calories Old portions: Heavy pour of creamer- 100-150 calories Coconut milk- 10-15 calories I went from estimating ratios to being specific and intentional, so that I know exactly the amount I’m working with. It’s important to keep trying to find ways to improve, whether it be in your diet or other areas. I have started asking myself- ok, this is good, but how can I make this work better for me? Having that mindset will help you so so much. Also, when you are making changes that other people don’t understand, they will not understand the effort you put in. Sometimes they might even feel exasperated or make you feel like what your doing is “obsessive” or unnecessary. Some comments I have personally received: “That is too much work” “That is too OCD.” And my personal favorite: “I can’t wait until you get pregnant so you have cravings and can’t control what you eat.” Just remember you have goals. Their push back and attitude has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. Teach yourself not to give a shit what they think because you are improving your life and that’s what matters. Plus- measuring out coffee add-ins literally takes 5 extra seconds in your day. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you get set on a number on a scale and base your life around it? . . What if I told you that in both of these pictures taken almost 3 years apart I weight the same in each pic? . . I constantly tell the ladies on my team NOT TO FOCUS ON A NUMBER! . . Setting a goal based off a number is a good EYEBALL GUESSTIMATE. not a rule to live by 🙈 . . I believe in feeling confident in your skin and to me that means going based off how you look. Not what some number reads. 😒 . . It’s so crazy to think back tho because the picture on the left I had found out that morning I was pregnant with my second child! AND I had found out I finally hit my “pre baby weight” for the first time since having my first baby. I was filled with mixed emotions. . . I had worked so hard and was focusing on a stupid number when this whole journey I’ve realized that I need to own my body and live myself at every moment I’m in. . . Currently gaining weight in the exact spots i worked so hard on getting rid of sure feels upsetting but I’ve realized that this is my last pregnancy. I am only pregnant for such a SMALL portion of my life. . . I feel confident and sexy in my skin because I deserve it. And so do you!

Throwback to the summer of 2018, about six months before I got pregnant, and I had just got back into training properly. This picture was taken on holiday in North Cyprus when I had just finished 100 laps of a 25 metre pool. I normally would have swam 50 lengths all breast stroke but that day I decided to push myself and do a mixture of front crawl and breast stroke. My legs gave away the second I got out of the pool, but I remember having that euphoric feeling that I had accomplished something that day and came out of the pool on a natural high and feeling proud that I'd pushed myself to do those extra 50 laps. Maybe I'll never have a washboard stomach thanks to birthing two big boys and a big lady, but I want to use this picture to remind me that even though I felt a bit down today, thinking that I'd never be thin again, finding this picture helped me get that motivation back. If I could get back to my pre-pregnancy weight after two boys back to back then indeed I can do it after three. But I'll have to put my back into it. 💪 Also, swimming is such an amazing form of exercise that if I lived in a hot Mediterranean country like North Cyprus, I'd swim every day! I love how it's an all over workout that is so good for getting the heart pumping and the body lean. Definitely one of my favourite ways to get fit! danielle_n_howe. This is very very personal and not something I’m comfortable with talk

This is very very personal and not something I’m comfortable with talking about just yet. . . But this girl 4 weeks ago was in a dark place. Yes. 4 weeks. A lot can change in 4 weeks when you have Christ on your side. . . I believe I had dealt with a bit of postpartum depression. Me? No way. I’m super happy. I love God. I love my family. Why would I have a reason to be “depressed.” . . I cried almost daily. I felt stuck. I felt like I was sinking. I felt disgusted of myself. I ate my feelings. I, unlike some people, gain weight after giving birth. In fact, I put on almost 20 pounds AFTER having Ruby. . . But it came time that I had to face the fact that only I AM IN CONTROL of my attitude. Of my health. Of my nutrition. My fitness. ONLY ME. . . So I decided to suck it up, and control the one thing I knew I could control — my fitness & nutrition. I dove into some spiritual and personal development. Daily. More prayer. Clean eating. Exercising. Getting up before the kids, even when I have a nursing baby. . . I feel like a new person. I’m happy. I have more energy. I have, wait for it, ...... C O N F I D E N C E again!! . . The thing is, so many people may not have any “physical” transformation goals. But there should ALWAYS be one goal — and that is living your best life. With health, with mindset, with confidence, with fitness, with happiness! . . It’s not just about the physical transformation. It’s about the mind transformation. If I could wish for anything, I’d wish that you would just trust yourself and commit. Because you deserve it. Snap out of that mindset. Stop telling yourself it won’t work this time. Or you don’t have the money. Or the time. You are manifesting that. Start having an open mind. And be positive. And optimistic! . . These are things we focus on in my challenge group! Which, I’m starting a new group on MONDAY!! If you’re not in my The Best Me Project group, you ought to be! Drop a comment below if you’d like the deets!

⪡ P r e c o n c e p t i o n ⪢ Did you know that building and maintaining a strong, well functioning pelvic floor and core PRIOR to getting pregnant can help minimize your risk of developing common prenatal issues such as back pain, pelvic girdle pain, and symphysis pubis dysfunction? Learning how to truly connect to your pelvic floor & TVA prior to pregnancy while also continuing to STRENGTHEN + LENGTHEN these muscles throughout pregnancy sets you up for less aches and pains and a quicker postpartum recovery. 〰️ Not only that, but trying to conceive (especially if you are experiencing any fertility issues) can be stressful. And STRESS can affect your ability to get pregnant. Re-patterning your breathing to stem from the diaphragm (rather than the chest) shifts your nervous system back into the parasympathetic, helping to ALLEVIATE the stress response in the body. Breathing diaphragmatically also enables you to regulate your intra abdominal pressure and tone the muscles of your inner core at the same time. 〰️ Here are a few things to keep in mind if you’re trying to conceive (or even just beginning to think about it) ↴ ⋗ MOVE your body:: The benefits of exercise are endless, but getting into a workout routine prior to conceiving can help relieve stress + boost your mood, build strong muscles & a strong cardiovascular + respiratory system, maintain a healthy weight, and boost ovulatory function + improve overall fertility. ⋗ EAT nourishing, whole foods:: What (+ how often) you eat can affect your hormone balance. Insulin also plays a huge role in hormonal balance and fertility (more on that later) so make sure you’re eating at regular intervals and are getting a good balance of fresh, whole foods including good sources of protein, healthy fats and fiber. ⋗ SLEEP well:: Not getting enough sleep may directly affect the release of luteinizing hormone; the hormone that triggers ovulation. ⋗ PHYSICAL THERAPY:: It’s never too early to get a deep understanding of how your core + floor are functioning, and a pelvic floor PT can help you do just that. Pelvic floor + core dysfunction is NOT just limited to people who have had babies! . 📸 via @brookethedoula

✨ THROW BACK THURSDAY ✨ • • Scrolling through pre pregnancy photos whilst laying down next to Riley napping... and just thinking how am I gonna get back in shape again 😭 For those who personally know me I’ve never been the slim type I’ve always had curves and boobs and “all the right junk in all the right places” haha! Of course EVERYBODY is beautiful and you should always feel comfortable in your skin but I never ever ever have. I have never been confident with my body up until after Riley was born and even then I wouldn’t quite call it “confident” as I hated the saggy skin bits but then again LOOK what I have put my body through... it was a home to this gorgeous little boy and it took care of him whilst mummy was impatiently waiting! Now my body is doing the same thing but I am just worried I’ll never go back to this size and will be back where I was... it’s hard for me to post photos of myself and I stare at them for ages after posting and debating deleting them like a 1000 times and I have done so before! • • • I guess what I’m trying to say is that I really hope I can love myself and my body cause I never have. I want to make big changes in my life cause my anxieties are eating me alive! Not just body, general motivation... I will be posting a cheeky bump update tomorrow and for now here’s a #tbt cause me and Riley are soooo ill 🤧 🤒 😷 OH OH plus if you ever need an AMAZING home remedy for a stuffy nose or even if your sinuses are playing up, hit me up! My sister recommended THE best one and it worked wonders on Riley and just OVERNIGHT! • • • HAPPY THURSDAY BABIES 🥰 • • • • • • • • #selfie #bodypositive #confidence #insecure #everybodyisflawless #believeinyourself #anxiety #motherhood #newmum #pregnant #prepregnancy #backinshape #mumbloggersuk #mumlife #youareenough #yourebeautiful #mumstyle

This photo is prior to pregnancy. Last year for a wedding. I took this photo but would never post it or anything from waist down because I always thought I didn’t look great, I was embarrassed. I hate that I was so hard on myself so much, when I look at this now, I’m not embarrassed at all, I like that I am curvy. I see myself much differently. Research shows that most women only get about half of the recommended daily intake of folate through food. . This is alarming since it is so important not only for our bodies but also for our future children. We must consume adequate amounts of folic acid in the pre-pregnancy stage because the first few weeks after conception are the critical weeks for the fetus possibly developing a neural tube defect such as spina bifoda. Many women don’t even know they are pregnant yet at this stage - this is why we need to make an effort to adequately consume folate before we might get pregnant. . The recommended intake is 400mcg for ALL women. Pregnant woman should get between 400-800mcg. . See the graphic above for more folate facts as well as what foods can help you meet your folate needs without a supplement. . . . . #folate #folicacid #folacin #pregnancy #womenshealth #eatyourvegetables #eatyourveggies #prepregnancy #neuraltubedefects #womensfitness #knowyourvitamins #supplements #prenatalvitamins #prenatalcare #womensnutrition #womenshealth #nashvillepersonaltrainer #nashville

Good bye pre-pregnancy jeans. 👋🏻 It was fun, but I don’t need you anymore and can’t wait to get you out of my house. It’s been almost 5 years since I started growing humans in my body and there was a time I thought “I can’t wait to get back into those jeans”, but I lit that version of myself on fire YEARS ago and grew a new me. The new me thinks we should set fire to the “get your body back” narrative. Society told us that. And society is so often WRONG. Your body grows, it’s a fact of childbearing. Whether you’re roughly the same weight or not, your rib cage is bigger, your breasts don’t feel (or look, or hang) the same, your hips widen and things just don’t fit the way they used to. Imagine if instead of that making us feel bad it made us feel empowered? Look what our body did. It grew a human (or two), it nourished itself and other beings and at the end of that journey it still works. Exactly as it’s supposed to. Although, maybe with some stitches. 😉 You know what never returns to what it was before? The mother. The father. The new parent. You can’t get you back. You’re gone. And a new, better, more honest, more authentic you is in its place. And you’re better for it. So why hang onto the jeans? Torch them. Torch the jeans. Torch it all. (Or donate them if you’re literally talking about jeans); it’d be wasteful to actually torch them. Thanks @jogale.moves for the reminder I’ve been meaning to get rid of these. Thanks to all the empowered women I’m lucky to know. Who have the courage to put themselves out there and reclaim who they are. 💪🏻 👊🏻✊🏻 . . . #pregnancy #prepregnancy #postpartum #fourthtrimester #postbaby #hamont #motherhood #motherhoodrising #empower #feminism #burnitdown

My #prepregnancy #weight was about 115lbs . My #goal is to be about 145lbs, stout, with booty and booby gains. My body mass index at 115lbs says normal. And that may be for some women my height and weight and that's perfect for their #lifestyle . Wonderful. But I have three kids and another on the way and still going to try more for another girl a little bit later down the road. I need some #muscle and #energy sources that have diminished over these past years. This is more than having the #bodyimage and #security for a piece of mind and being in my #vanity . This is majorly about how weak and run down and #unhealthy I've been feeling. #Stamina is real and it's going to be hard to increase my energy for this #bootyjourney but seeing the scale already at 144 during my pregnancy #motivates me even more to keep putting on the pounds now, while im limited to exercising but unlimited to the food I can be shoveling in lol
