Happy Saturday homies 🤙🏻 Worked on mostly posterior shhhtuff today, with the exception of some shoulder movements. Feeling da pump! 🔥 Threw in some videos of heavy and light hip thrusters from the other day. Digging the bar into my back, letting it bump the weight up and knowing it can handle it def helps me roll into the lift with confidence. Even though this wasn't my best squat day, I always still feel that vibe, even when I'm just knocking out sets at the gym every week. Meet recap: 248 squat, 135 bench, and 303 deadlift for a 686 lb total at my first meet after 9 months of powerlifting training! Thank you to everyone that came out to support and see me! Coach @senpaistrength, @emptyx_xfujo, so many of my @bigtexgym fam that have helped me so much in all kinds of ways during my powerlifting training especially @elevated__ape always looking out, @vanwinlifts who competed with me and had a great meet day with huge PRs and bestx2, @gypsyql from @knotinpain helping all my back and hip pains, @berserker2k helping me train commands. Congrats to @ty_ryan_ on his first meet and medals. Ofc, thank you @bulkin_snorlax for taking care of me, being my hand off, and believing the most in me especially when I don’t see it in myself. My number one fan ❤️ Squat 220 🔴🔴🔴 I stumbled back after I locked out and I had never done that before. I think it was a mix of nerves and never using kilo plates before despite them always being available to me 🤦🏻‍♀️ / 220 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ / 248 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ We felt confident to jump up close to where our original 3rd attempt was going to be. 13 lb PR 👌 Bench 121 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ / 135 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ / 148 🔴🔴🔴 I should’ve had patience and kept grinding judging from the video but from my POV it was sent moving at all. Just some confidence I’ll need to train. I’m sad I couldn’t PR in bench but still okay. Deadlift 253 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ / 275 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ / 303 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ The tearjerker! I can’t believe I’m in the 300 deadlifts club 😭🙏 18 lb PR. My body has been tested and feels broken but I made it! Next, I’m going to focus on cutting with bodybuilding training. I can’t believe I was able to compete in bodybuilding and powerlifting this year! I have always been told that getting places I want to go will never be easy, not always enjoyable and sometimes can be facing our demons. It can be challenging who you’re as a person, and changing certain aspects of your character to become better and stronger overall. It’s important to embrace yourself but it’s not always bad to change habits that have been picked up in the past to become a better version of yourself. I remember when I was a lot younger, I always wanted to be someone else, there was always someone better and I thought they must have it all, I would try to change who I was to ‘improve ‘ but if I knew then What I know now, I would have never thought that way. The thing is we can change, we can become better and we don’t have to be someone else to do it. In my life I have put myself in situations that have overwhelmed me and there have been times I wished I could disappear, but I stayed, I have overcome the challenges and improved overall. Facing something that could leave you with nothing is scary, but it can also give you so much more. If you’re hesitate doing something because you feel like you could lose, embarrass yourself or you feel like you’re not ready, take a risk, believe in yourself, I promise it will not always be easy but will be worth it.

My FIRST EVER powerlifting competition is this Saturday, December 15th! So many emotions and thoughts have been running through me; excited, nervous, worried, feeling strong as hell, scared I’m weak as f***, and so much more! But one thing is for sure! Imma do MY BEST! New 4 week block starting today! More volume then ever. I lost colour in my face at one stage apparently 🤢🤢🤢. Still trying to perfect a few flaws in my deadlifts but taking videos from both angles I can see where I'm going wrong. Practice makes perfect! I'm super happy I've got my belt back, I feel like I'm out of the naughty corner 😂 This was 5 sets x 10 reps at 90kgs today.
