Last set of 6 at RPE 8. With this angle it's much easier to see the shifting onto my right leg. I wonder if that's the cause of the quad pain 🤔 - Had less time than I'd have liked so i used this novel concept of autoregulation to adjust the weights lighter so the RPE would remain the same while using a shorter rest time. If you'd like to congratulate me for being a smarty pants, I'd really appreciate it.

PULL YOURSELF INTO THE SQUAT! - Movement should be active, not passive. When we squat, we want to be in control of the weight for the entire rep. - By pulling ourselves into tension, we avoid the passiveness of simply dropping down into the hole and having to reengage our muscles to drive back up (inefficient, loss of control, and in many cases, dangerous) and also avoid simply resisting the weight by descending TOO slow, wasting tremendous energy. - To feel what I’m talking about, stand on the spot and jump as high as you can. - Notice that as you descend, you pull your body down into the “hole”, controlling your body and creating your own stretch reflex - keeping the tension stored in the right muscles. - You don’t just “drop” down by giving into gravity and turning into spaghetti - But you also don’t take 5 seconds to lower yourself. - Movement principles are universal. Booked a trip and 3 hours later was on a flight to California visited the MECCA OF BODYBUILDING and Muscle Beach. Went to Long Beach, Veince Beach, & Huntington Beach plus an Angel's Baseball Game with a free Eli Young Band Concert not a bad spontaneous trip. Work Hard to enjoy life and experiences!
