Back Squat 3x 8-10 at 135# Front Squat 3x 10-12 at 95# Deadlift 4x 8 at 135# Deadlift 2x 12 at 95# One leg barbell squat 3x 8-10 at 65# Leg Press 3x 8-10 at 170# 2x to failure at 150# Leg extension 3x 8-10 at 125# 2x to failure at 100# . Obviously change the weight to best fit you but PUSH YOURSELF. Two years ago I couldn’t even bench press the bar and now I’ve signed up for a damn powerlifting meet. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 💣 : 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐬. ⁣ ⁣ I mean ... it’s cool and all.. but I just personally don’t find it super impressive anymore. I find it extremely impressive seeing heavy weight being lift with volume sets. ⁣ ⁣ I use to be so stuck on comparing myself to other lifters and their weights until I really started noticing that form wasn’t maintained or the ability to do reps at heavier weight while maintaining form wasn’t there. ⁣ ⁣ My main focus will always be on form, which is something I continuously work on. ⁣ ⁣ My body is different than yours. I’m pretty proud of where I am at considering I have physically been diagnosed with my right leg being 1/2 inch shorter than my left. And no I don’t need an adjustment to fix it, it’s physically the bone length. I see a chiropractor every 2 weeks. With this defect I really need to focus on my foot placement is to maintain my form bc having both feet even won’t cut it for me. You may be able to tell in the videos ⁣ ⁣ Find what works for you but keep in mind these few universal tips: ⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣keep your core engaged ⁣ 2️⃣keep a neutral spine ⁣ 3️⃣remember to breathe ⁣ 4️⃣give your body adequate rest between sets ⁣ ⁣ If you’re looking to gain strength I highly recommend following a periodization technique. If you can not maintain the integrity of your form then you do NOT move up the weight. Also doing reset sets really helps with learning proper form. (First video) ⁣ ⁣ Also adding in deload weeks along with proper accessory & mobility/stability work is always important to maintain balance with the body. ⁣ ⁣ What is your favorite lift or workout type?!⤵️

Flashback Friday to when I picked things up and put them down (525lbs on the bar) . I think it’s important to have a foundation of strength to build on the physique they go hand in hand . Also don’t think there should be exclusion of one over the other unless you are completely specialized in the sport and even then powerlifters can benefit from bodybuilding style workouts and bodybuilders might actually be able to build some lats if they power lifted a little😂 trollolloll

It wasn’t until recent that I took time to dedicate towards recovery and muscle health. I can feel a huge difference with my lifts and overall health since I started getting deep tissue massages, cupping and scraping. Thank you @edgecmt for the amazing work. If you’re looking for someone to do this kind of work, I highly recommend this man. It has been an immediate game changer for me. Before seeing him, I couldn’t squat to save my life. I had too much pain in my quads, and after just our first session I was back under the bar squatting again.
