ATHLETIC REFORMER This is one of my favorite way to blast my upper body and core. I started very slow using one blue spring and worked my way up to three red springs. HELICOPTER VARIATION Playing around with the @balanced_body arc and various infinity foot bar positions, I discovered this wonderful helicopter variation. This is an amazing stretch and very supportive using the foot bar just below the base of the shoulder blades. Core contraction helps to elongate spine. CLIMB A TREE VARIATION • • Here’s a great climb a tree variation that offers stability during rotation and lateral hip flexibility. With my three disc herniation‘s, rotation can often agitate my spine. My hamstrings got a great workout. I started on one red spring and worked to no springs. Having my toes bird perched over the foot bar really helped with control. Using the Pilates arc allowed me to maintain spinal extension in my upper back. #athleticpilates #pilatespalmsprings #palmsprings #fitness #pilatesstrength
