✨MY BIGGEST FITNESS MISTAKES✨ ⠀ I want to remind you all with this post that failure is ok, as long as you turn your mistakes into lessons!! 😎🌈 Trust me we’ve all been there! Every expert was once a beginner 🤓 Especially me hahaha; ⠀ ⠀ 🌟1️⃣: I didn’t even know you could put weights on the legpress machine. We have this legpress where you need to put weights on the side, just the machine is like 20kg to push away. And I did my workouts like this for a long frickin time 🤦🏼‍♀️ ⠀ 🌟2️⃣: I squatted without weights (just the barbell) for MONTHS because I thought it was heavy enough for me, I didn’t challenge myself or my muscles AT ALL 😩 ⠀ 🌟3️⃣: I never trained my upperbod because I considered it manly, I figured I’d become too muscular and would lose my curves. Well the opposite happened haha! 🙈🙌🏼 ⠀ 🌟4️⃣: My form. Ofcourse my form!! Nobody starts with a perfect form without having the right knowledge. Now I realise the progress isn’t just in my body, my knowledge grows with! The more videos I watched, people I talked to and research I did, the better I performed in the gym. 😎 ⠀ 🌟5️⃣: IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MINDSET 🗝 Unfortunately there’s no magic tips for this, nobody else can do this but you. It took me some time but once it hit me, it hit me good!😆 I’ve been motivated and dedicated to workout since november last year, and I couldn’t be happier to have found my passion. Squats are primarily a quad dominant exercise! When squatting, In order to dominantly work the other muscles like your glutes and hamstrings you must incorporate feet manipulation. This is when u adjust the width or placement of your feet to cause a better engagement toward a muscle. . . As u can see in this demonstration my feet placement is wide (Sumo) and toes pointing outward. This feet manipulation will cause a greater emphasis in my hamstrings and glutes as I squeeze them at the top! . . The closer your feet the better quad engagement and the wider your feet the more hamstring and flute engagement. . . PRECISE EXECUTION CREATES PRECISE RESULTS!!! PRECISION TRAINING! . .
