Here's a nice, well-rounded arms routine. Three exercises for the biceps and three for the triceps. I like to aim for 15-20 reps per set on hack squat, really focusing on mind muscle connection and time under tension. I went for several years without training legs properly, I would just mindlessly circuit between leg press, leg extensions and curls, and calf raises. 😂 I think the best approach for any muscle group is to try many exercises, find the ones that feel good - that allow you to really focus on and connect with the muscle you’re working - and stick with those. We’re not all bio-mechanically built the same, so it’s natural to have some movements that might feel a bit off. Be open to trying new movements, but don’t feel the need to commit if it feels off.

Reflecting on my 3rd week since I took over the Fitness product in our flagship corporate club in the heart of canary wharf. . I've already managed to complete stage 1 + 2 of culture change. 1 being creating a state of trust and safety within the team and 2 changing the environment. Both key pillars in the beginning of culture creating. . This will set the team up and business for a successful 2020 when we start to make some key shifts. . I've taken advantage as it's the end of year, this is a prime time for change as most people are already in the mindset of 'new year, new me'. We have 18 days left of 2019. I am not going to sit here and say to make the best of it because I know that's easier said than done. I'm going to be real and say what most people probably feel...this year has straight up sucked. That's the truth. While there have been some great moments, there have been more shitty moments. 🤷🏼‍♀️ . This year has tested me in ways I never thought were possible. From toxic relationships, to abuse, to extreme stress that placed me in the ER a couple of times...you name it, it happened. There were many times earlier this year where I'd be sitting on the bathroom floor in the dark, sobbing and wondering how to exit this world. That's one of the hardest fucking things I have said because I truly have never felt emotions as I did this year. . As I sit here watching the rain drop down my windows, I had a realization that if I chose to leave this world in those darkest of moments, I would have never been able to experience the positive things and people that happened to me. It's been worth it. It's been worth realizing I do have a purpose in this world. My purpose is to help others who feel out of place. My purpose is to help others appreciate themselves. My purpose is to follow my dreams and help others do the same. . So to those of you who feel they have no one, you have me. To those of you who feel like the world is ending, turn to me. To those of you who feel like others are mistreating you and need a soundboard, I will listen. . . In the infamous words of Rascal Flatts "I will stand by you...I will help you through...When you've done all you can do...And you can't cope...I will dry your eyes...I will fight your fight." .
