Reverse diet is def a work in progress, it’s a lot harder than it’s written out to be. I starved myself for so long, my body doesn’t understand how to use what I’m giving it. It wants to store everything, and it’s constantly telling me I’m hungry. I’m feeling more ‘normal’ with each day. My strength is slowly coming back, stamina is taking its time returning. Once again, just another part of bodybuilding nobody wants to talk about. The aftermath of a show prep. The mental toll it takes watching your body change in a ‘bad’ way within a couple days, making it seem like all the hard work you put in has gone down the drain. Your body is not meant to stay in peak week shape. It’s okay to take time, and get back to a maintenance state. My body has been through a lot, it’s time to focus on what it can do, rather than what it looks like. • • • #trainharderthanme

Im not too happy with the photo to the right because it is from a few weeks ago when I was bloated as hell BUT I am proud of the muscle gain! 🙏 I've worked really hard in my build season and I can definitely see I'm wider, have bigger shoulders, bigger quads 😍 I'm quite confident that I will come in looking even better for this show 🙌 just shredding down day by day! Soon enough I'll be stepping on stage 😍 But first, I need to make it through this ZERO CARB weekend 🙈

All the food has finally caught up to training (I think, don’t want to speak too soon🤞🏾) so that’s great, but on the other hand, all the food also has me feeling floofier than ever. So I’m trying to be a little nicer to myself (and also rational). .

I spend a lot of my time training solo. Headphones in. Feel. Every. Single. Contraction. Zonin’. Vision goals. Close my eyes. Feel the fucking set. Make it hurt. Make the weight heavy. Simple. Feeling good, always workin’. Always wanting something more. Something higher. All good vibes. Positive vibes. Always working on making myself a better person, one day at a time.
