Autumn Equinox ... the time of year when day and night are in equal balance. After today the days grow shorter and the nights longer ... . As a Libran - the star sign of Balance it’s something I have to really strive for in my own life or I feel completely out of sorts. . Yoga and baking have helped to keep that balance in check over the years. When work/travel/family commitments have felt overwhelming I’ve really had to step back, take a breath and give myself an hour or two (ideally a day) to find my own space and peace and quiet. . How do you maintain balance when life seems like it’s going at full speed ...? . 🥁 SIDE STORY 🥁 In my last story, I said that my first phisiotheraphy was not good enough. Thankfully, I got recommended by my yoga friend, there is one good theraphist. So I went there, he is really know what his doing. I still went there until today, and have another theraphy in next week. So far, my progress is quite good, my headache mostly go away and my body more lighter 🙏🏻 I guess I was one of the lucky girl who got to know these incredible people ❤ I really want to thank you for the beautiful people who help me a lot, when I got my accident or after. My best friends who were there and scold me, thank you so much! 😄👌 the person who really scold me the most is my husband and my parents, brothers and sisters in law! Without doing some form of work on ourselves, physically, emotionally and spiritually we are prey to the whims of our minds. Our minds tell us we are good, so we feel good; our minds tell us we are bad, so we feel bad. Our orientation is outward; we continuously compare ourselves to others, and most of the time we find ourselves lacking. We search outside of ourselves for the validation we crave. And since we have no control over this validation, we can never truly be at peace or gain access to our true power in this life. . . . When we seek answers outside ourselves, we go deeper into the wilderness. We hold on to fears and outworn beliefs because we are afraid. Being afraid does not make us right, it only makes us unhappy. Yoga is a means for us to become still, to come back home. This sense of coming home is real. Through this practice of yoga I have learned a great deal of self acceptance. During and after your asana practice you meet different parts of yourself. At the end of your practice, notice if you feel more at home in your body, more at home in your life, more at home in your being. Yoga has brought me closer to the truth about myself, where before I used to go in the opposite direction, looking externally when all along everything I searched for was within❤️. . . . #selflove
