I started my training for a ruck in the spring so muscle endurance will be what my training consists of right now. . . For anyone who doesnt know what a ruck is, I will be carrying a 25lb pack on my back for 26 miles. . . My first #barreflow class is in the books! The over preparation as a group fitness instructor is *always* worth it in the end when you execute a great class that your clients appreciate and enjoy. You can see in the photo that I have my script in hand. A necessity when you incorporate a significant level of mindfulness to a class. Music selections and timing are also key. Our theme for today was the word open, or openness. What does this word make you think of? We can talk about our hearts being open, the opening of our minds, perhaps an opening or a release of a feeling like grief, anger or joy. Maybe itโ€™s an open door to new challenges, or new beginnings, a new job, a new relationship. Or being open to just physically getting through the work out! Whatever image comes to mind is completely appropriate and correct for you today. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach a class of this format and look forward to sharing more of this journey with you. โ€œ The mind is like a parachute.
