Dneska tu mám tip na jedno super rychlý jídlo, který jsem si za poslední dny oblíbila. Jojo, není to nic převratnýho, ale myslim si, že pro lidi, co mají málo času a přitom chtějí jist kvalitně, je to dobrý jídlo! 😀 Vajíčka jsou super volba, obsahují široké spektrum aminokyselin (hlavně ty esenciální), taky tuky a když k nim přihodíte ještě nějaký ty sacharidy, máte krásné komplexní jídlo 💪🏼 Samozřejmě nemusíte si dělat jen omeletu, je spoustu způsobů, jak si vajíčka připravit :) Ale já teď mám zrovna oblíbenou omeletu 😌 často si ji něčím naplnim- třeba sýrem nebo kvalitní šunkou.. a nebo třeba jen směsí zeleniny :) No a jako přílohu jsem zvolila brambory ne proto, že bych se vyhýbala pečivu, ale protože prostě nemám denně doma čerstvý pečivo a nějaký brambory se tam najdou vždycky 🥔🥔 Jo a Ricotta nesmí nikdy chybět! 😜🥰

I’ve been noticing some good changes in my children’s eating habits over the last couple of months. Rohan, my teen, is now eating bananas (hasn’t eaten these since he was really little) and blueberries (he’s never eaten these). Kiahni my 11 year old girl, is now eating capsicum (brand new food for her) - voluntarily going to the fridge and getting some out to cut up and eat. Ollie my baby boy eats everything I put in front of him. 😬 Is this their palates changing as a result of being on our wholefood capsules for about nine months now? Or is it just them growing up and choosing to eat better? 🤔 Either way I’m happy! 😄 Do you have fussy eaters that could do with a nutritional boost everyday and hopefully a change in palate to make them more inclined to eat more fruits and veggies? 🍌🍇🍅🥑

Baked breakfast oats ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ _______________________________________________ Been testing a few recipes for baked oats which are a great breakfast option. Especially as it takes 1-2minutes to mix together and can slowly baked whilst you’re getting ready. I tend to prefer my breakfast options to be warm in the morning during the cold months and find that baked oats are a great idea. . . 🛒YOU’LL NEED . ✔️1 cup of oats ✔️ 1/2 banana ✔️1/3 of a glass of milk ✔️Grated 1/2 carrot ✔️1 tsp mixed spices powder ✔️1 tbsp cinnamon powder ✔️1 tbsp of honey or vegan alternative ✔️2-3 cubes of dark chocolate . RECIPE 👩🏼‍🍳 . 1️⃣ Preheat over to 180 degrees. In a medium bowl mash the banana with the oats, add enough milk to cover the oats, add the grated carrots, mixed spices, cinnamon and a bit more milk if needed just to cover the ingredients. Whisk together and a squeeze of honey or vegan alternative. . 2️⃣ Coat the inside of a baking dish with some coconut oil or olive oil. Pour the mixture into the baking dish whilst adding a 1-2 squares of dark chocolate inside the baking dish. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Treadmill Milkshakes....I mean Mistakes 101⁣⁣ ⁣ Diet Girl (Cardio Girl for this post) has been brainwashed into thinking hours of cardio will get her to where she wants to be weight wise.....so she spends a tonne of time on the treadmill⁣....here are a few mistakes she is making ⁣⁣ 1. Using a Treadmill⁣⁣ al all ⁣⁣ • Unless you are a runner or training for something involving running.....or actually like the treadmill, why on earth would you use it?⁣⁣ • How about just getting out and about, fresh air and taking in the views.....don’t be that person that drives to the gym to walk/run on a treadmill⁣⁣ • It has to be the most boring thing ever....again if you love it then do it, but if you despise it then don’t put yourself through it day after day⁣⁣....it will drain the life out of you ⁣⁣ 2. Holding the handles on an incline ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ • This is the biggest annoyance in the gym, even worse than not putting away your weights⁣⁣ • The fact you are holding the handles totally negates the effect of the treadmill being on the incline.....you are basically walking on the flat again⁣⁣ • The idea of an incline is to make it harder on your legs and get you to engage your core, holding the handles takes all the stress off your body making the exercise fairly pointless⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3. Jumping Off when sprinting ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ • When running full pelt you often see people jumping off and placing their feet either side⁣⁣ • Apparently it’s HIIT⁣⁣ • More likely you’ll HIIT your face off the treadmill if you misjudge it⁣⁣ • ⁣⁣You wouldn’t see a sprinter running then suddenly stopping dead immediately, they let the body’s momentum slow them down, so reduce the speed and slow yourself down before speeding back up, you’ll get a better workout 4. Whole Grains + Gluten Free Substitutes There are two types of grains – whole grains and refined grains. Whole grains are superior to refined grains because they are nutrient dense and provide many health benefits. Whole grains consist of: #Bran – contains phytonutrients, fiber, B vitamins, antioxidants, and trace minerals (iron, zinc, copper, magnesium) #Germ – rich in B vitamins, vitamin E, trace minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats #Endosperm – contains carbohydrate, protein, and some B vitamins Refined grains contain only the endosperm! This means that there is significant loss of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants with refined grains. Optimize your intake of whole grains by choosing foods made with whole wheat flour as opposed to white flour. Whole grains have been shown in clinical studies to reduce cholesterol and improve heart health. Additionally, whole grains have a lower glycemic index than refined grains, meaning they will be less likely to dramatically increase blood sugar. Incorporate a variety of whole grain to enhance nutrient benefits, such as buckwheat, quinoa, and barley (did you know the first two are #glutenfree and actually NOT even actually a grain at all?!). To improve digestibility, try #sproutinggrains. Sprouting is a process that makes nutrients in grains more available to the human body.
