"Yeah, but... frustrating I know. . . Today, I ponder these two words. As a holistic practitioner, I am always curious to how we can point people in a new direction that might seem invisible. Point people toward health. Knowing, of course its the absolute last thing they see for themselves when they are in the thick of a feeling or situation. And that is absolutely o.k. I gotcha dear one. . . . Then you say to me. "Yeah, but...You don't know how this makes me feel!" You won't understand!" . . . What if I told you that helping people see what appears to be a genuine obstacle in there path is a thought of there making that looks real. What can we do to change this thought? We shift the "yeah, buts" to "I am more then my thought" "I am human and I need help to understand my thoughts. To shift my mindset. To learn how to cope in a healthy way. To learn to be kind to my mind. #bk2ym To learn to be compassionate to myself. Gentle. Loving and self aware when these thoughts arise and they will. Yeah, but...you can change your thought. Its also about being safe and finding the therapist who can help you with all these thoughts. They are out there and I ❤️ #psychotherapy dear ones. . . .

Every year Day Lewis host an Annual Charity Day, where all pharmacies across the estate take part to raise money for their local charities. This year, the Day Lewis Support Office based in Purley Way raised funds for their two chosen charities, of which Mind in Croydon are one. The day was a real family occasion and was also attended by the Mayor or Croydon and his wife. Despite the constant rain, employees participated in a number of events to raise funds for us. These included a basketball match, a clothes sale, raffles and opportunities to wet sponge the bosses! A grand total of £2500 was raised that was matched by the KC JC Foundation, which means each charity received £2500 each. We are delighted and thankful to Day Lewis for this donation which will contribute to the running of our front line services to help those experiencing mental health issues to lead better lives. #Croydon #fundraising #mentalhealth
