If there were more hours in a day, I would just find more things that need doing. . . Day 4 of #marchmindfulhearts is #warrior1 in #sunsalutationb and today’s mantra is “I have time” . There really isn’t any excuse to not practice daily, well except maybe sleep. I’m not gonna lie, I sometimes choose sleep over morning practice cuz well, my body needs it almost as much as it needs yoga. It’s taken me a while to stop beating myself up over it. I wish I could practice every day at like 3pm. That would be perfect. But we don’t live in a perfect world, sooooo I make time anywhere I can to sneak in a little yoga when I haven’t gotten on the mat, .... in the kitchen making dinner, at my desk at work, waiting for the school bus, before or after I teach a class. Asana : Boat Pose | Naukasana | Navasana Well, this Asanas is quite underrated when it comes to strengthening your core! Also it's quite important to understand the technicalities so you get the better results, no matter which variation you do, make sure you have the right posture! It can be a game changer in your core training if you are an athlete as it impacts your core muscles statically which helps in terms of your endurance improvement without increasing you heart rate or blood pressure anywhere . Try holding the pose for at least 20-30 secs on initially 5 - 6 times in 1 go, then you can go upto 1 minute or so and increase the times you do it 🌸It primarily impacts your entire core and secondly your legs and GLUTES without making you go out of your breath 🌸Improve your body's Balance and strengthens your arm Muscles 🌸Intensity - Begginer to Expert .
