it’s a struggle to even remember the old me. ☽ let’s talk about N E U R O P L A S T I C I T Y. put simply, the neuroplasticity of our brains refers to the potential + proven ability for the neural pathways in our brains to be CHANGED thus producing measurable affects on the body ie up regulating hormones down regulating stress increasing serotonin dopamine + melatonin. this then begins to change our G E N E T I C M A K E - U P. the disease process gets shut down + health promoting genes begin to activate + multiply. this is E P I G E N E T I C S. ☽ so how do we engage this process? very specific meditations involving changing brain waves, creating heart + brain coherence + visualisation/mental rehearsal. @drjoedispenza calls this ‘breaking the habit of being yourself’. ☽ a huge side effect is that our personality (our personal realities) begins to dramatically change. we become somebody new + we make measurable changes to our brains + bodies. a new message is being transmitted; a new story. this is how people have ‘spontaneous’ remissions. ☽ so yeah, i can’t really remember the old me. if I think about it hard enough I can recall her essence + feel all of the ways that she used to suffer, unintentionally — repeating old patterns of hurt + trauma. + then I recognise how much better I feel when I embody my grace my gratitude my abundant love forgiveness empathy + integrity. + so I choose to romanticise my future, instead of my past. + I choose to keep creating the new me, instead of keeping the old me alive, still hurting, stuck on repeat. + i feel a lot better. i feel the best I’ve ever felt. even in my polarities my compromise my contrast my experience of loss + pain. because we all have those. they never go away. but what comes ever more into focus, into the field, the realm of my existence is this more + more palpable feeling + expression of love. of pure divinity. so yeah, i’ve changed. A L O T. + I hope you have too. + I hope that we can sit down + talk about all the ways that we have changed. bcz those are the conversations that i want to have.

💫 Truth 💫 . I know I need to rest today, I need to be ready for my weekend away. It was hard to come to that decision because I’ll be having the weekend off. No workout for 3 days 😱 . I could take my workout with me but I’m not away for long. This weekend is all about R&R with Mr T and my in-laws.
