What’s better than using your own fancy furniture for your yoga practice ?! Some are new to my little account, so I thought an introducing post would get you to know me a bit! But.. what is really accurate to tell? 🤔 (ask in the comments if I'm missing something) 🍋I'm Aylin! 👆🏻 🍋I live in Stockholm, Sweden 🍋I'm 22! 🍋I have 3 siblings, 2 brothers (10 and 8) and one sister (1.5 years old). 🍋I think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration, thank you Tesla💫 🍋I love limes and lemons! Put a bowl with chopped lemons in front of me and it'll be empty in seconds! 🍋I've been practicing yoga (all together) for almost 2 years and practiced my first 6 months together with my best friend @minnh at age 11. She is also responsible for my broken nose. 🍋I've also practiced: Kung Fu - 6 years🥋 Gymnastics - 6 years🤸🏻‍♀️ Pole dance - 6 months💃 🍋I finished my 200hr YTT in september and it was AMAZING! 🍋I've been studying Feng Shui and passed the last exam in octoberğŸŽ“ 🍋If an animal is scared of me (or other humans) I sit down in front of it and visualize a physical communication between us until it happens. Sounds crazy I know, but it works every single time! Animals understands so much more than we could ever imagine✨ 🍋I love taking photos of...nearly everything! 📷 🍋I love drawing, painting and do different kinds of sculptures. YES to use creativity! 🖌️ 🍋It's 90% how you react to it, with other words, I believe a good attitude gives you happiness! ✨ 🍋I always listen to what @dandapanillc has to say whenever I feel a bit lost!

Balance it out. I admit - I’m pretty bad at balancing things out lately. Especially emotionally. I still cannot figure out why, but I’m trying to figure out what’s important for me and what soothes me and what not. It’s definitely a process at the moment. On the other hand, when it comes to my practice I find balance easier in most asanas - even in my not beloved inversions. Maybe my body tries to tell me something and help me getting through that crazy mind 🙈 so here’s a well balanced boat on the already known stool. It also stretches the spine, hamstrings & sides of the body, as well as stimulating the abdominal organs. ğŸŽ“ Alignment Cues: #omniyogagirltips 1. The right leg is bent, with the top of the foot on the mat beside the right hip 2. Aim to keep the right knee in line with the right hip 3. The left leg is extended out to the side & there should be a maximum of a 90 degree angle between both legs 4. Angle the pelvis towards the left leg 5. Keep grounding down through the sitting bones, & drawn the lower belly back towards the spine 6. Both hands clasp the left foot, or shin 7. Draw the shoulder blades down the back 8. Create lots of length through the spine as you rotate & open the chest to the side 9. My simple philosophy for my practice tonight: breathe in. breath out. keep breathing. . I had planned on starting my @letsstartyoga practice this morning, but the morning ended up starting very frantic with Gemma waking up covered in vomit 😓 She is okay and didn’t throw up anymore, but she had an upset stomach all day so I stayed home with her today. After missing so much work last week from when I was sick, I felt really guilty, but the welfare of my child comes first. Bedtime yoga - speed 8x 🧘🏻‍♀️ Bedtime thoughts - I do yoga daily, I only drink water and I take my vitamins but I don’t consider myself healthy. Because your health isn’t just your physical health, it’s mental too. And if you don’t deal with the shit going on in your heart and your head, how healthy can you really be? So I’m making a promise to myself. I am going to dedicate the next few months to my mental health and try to sort my life out by walking away from the things that are holding me back, one step at a time. ❤️
