This was 2 weeks ago, but you’ll see in future videos that I had a little accident last week.🙈 I sliced my finger pretty good putting away a 50lb Dumbbell so I have a splint on to keep it straight. I’ve been using my @versagripps so that I can still lift while not using my left index finger, so I’m thankful I’m able to work around it! Also started a new split today(posted on my story) so I’m excited to get after this week! CORRECTIVE PULL UPS by @skiman.factual.fitness ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Back with another corrective video, in this shot we are visiting the pull up exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is a lot going wrong on left and its actually one of most common mistake that I see when individuals are performing the exercise.  The repetition is performed with a shrugged shoulder or elevated shoulder placement, or there is lots of momentum used in order to ascend upwards in the movement let along any scapula retraction. And lastly the shimmy movement from side to side in order to complete the rep. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On the right we are performing rep in a controlled manner without momentum along with a retracted scapula. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are having issues with the strict form of the pull ups, I recommend using strength bands or an assisted weighted pull up machine with a stack to offset your body weight until you can gradually work up to an unassisted full body pull up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Video credit goes to the man @skiman.factual.fitness Go give him a follow, oh wait... that's me! Quick tip Saturday 👍🏼 _ When training Back , getting stronger and going heavier is only necessary if you can control the weight. _ One simple trick when doing single arm row , or machine rows. Pull shoulders blade back on each reps locking your shoulder in place. Then follow it up with the pulling portion of the movement. _ This will ensure you feel it in your lats and mid back and not just your biceps 💪🏾 _ One way to stay motivated in the gym is make sure you’re leaning how to do the movements right. _ If it feels off or doesn’t feel right, you risk injury and a lot of frustration. _ #backworkout #lats #workout #rows #pullday #back #fitness #fitlife #fitnessmotivation #fitnessaddict #training #workout #form #fittip

I will be Back! 😉 . Been suffering from old shoulder injury with pinching nerve ache and sudden weak on left arm. This round is worse. Went for Tittar once, weeks ago, but seems didnt work well. I then "cleverly" believed could be tendor strain/tear even without undergoing physiotherapy or chiropractic lol. 🤨. . Have rested awhile before resuming some workout. Meanwhile avoiding heavy lifting especially compound workout or pressing.
