Do 2-3 sets of 5-15 repetitions slowly on each side…. SLOWLY. . . The goal 🥅with this exercise is to strengthen the infraspinatus and teres minor rotator cuff muscles on the back of the shoulder. Before doing it though, you must make sure that your core🔥, shoulders, and head👤 are in an aligned position. That position will help to open up the shoulder and reduce the impingement in the shoulder. . . When you rotate the arm outward, make sure to keep the shoulder pulled down⬇️ and focus on gently squeezing the mid back. DEADLIFTS💪 By @physiotrition and @musclemonsters 🔥Deadlifts are by far one of my favourite lifts and when performed correctly have many benefits 🙌 . 🤔In terms of which type of deadlift is best Escamilla et al. (2002), conducted an extensive study on the electromyographic activities of sumo and conventional style deadlifts. They compared the EMG activation of the glutes, hamstrings, quads, adductors, paraspinals, calves, traps and tibialis anterior in both movements. Both the sumo and conventional elicited similar activation in most muscle groups except the quads, tibialis anterior and calves. It’s been a while.......... It has been a while since I posted a video of me doing an exercise that included a full moon view of my ample arse. That was during 10x20m with +120kg Paola. Might have been Cynthia today. I also had Linsey up training and while we discussed about the importance of being in the middle of the bar she is coming on leaps and bounds with her box squat. Today I made an error with timings and screwed up getting the GPS on the lads during their rugby session. While they where in the gym testing for squat I was in the office creating a template for traffic light Thresholds based on the intensity of the session so that I can better assist the coaches on drill prescription. I apologised to the coaches who said of course don’t worry but I preach at our players about accuracy in training that transfers to the pitch. If I drive high standards I have to take responsibility when I miss them myself. Anyway I had a great conversation with ‘Andy’ today who heads up the Russian S&C program. A former colleague of Craig who’s an extremely intelligent contact that’s actually called Mark. With my head lodged up my ample arse all morning I kept telling Craig I’m off to call ‘Andy’ much to his bemusement. Went really basic on my leg session to build things up slowly as I’m hoping to start back hitting legs twice a week again💪🏻 🥰 - - - Tonight’s session; Shoulders: •Shoulder press, •Arnold press, •Cable upright rows, •Face rules, •Military press, •Front and lateral raises. Legs; •Glute kick backs, •Banded abductions, •kettle bell rdls, •Hack Squat (new PB 110kg 🥳) - - - I changed things up slightly and did a finished instead of doing some LISS after my session! You can eat all the food you want, but if your body can't assimilate your protein, carbs, or fats, it doesn't do you any good. Failure to fully digest your meals can lead to poor muscle growth, lack of energy, and even bouts of depression. You may be eating all the nutrients your body needs, but if your body doesn't have the capability to digest them–whether it's a lack of HCL (hydrocholoric acid) production or other causes–you won't get the benefits eating the nutrients in the first place. So if you want a better body, it's not just what you eat. It's how you eat, too. Here's a tip Don't drink water with your meals. Its a sign you're not chewing enough. You're just drinking the water to help push the food down. Also, the water may dilute your stomach acid, which you need to break down the liquefied food that travels there. Also HCL is needed to release pepsinogen which converts to an enzyme pepsin to break down protein and digest in the stomach. Here's are some signs you may be deficient in HCL. Looking or feeling bloated after a meal Farting or belching after meals Bad breath Constipation Undigested food in your stool Difficulty putting on muscle mass
