H A P P I N E S S ✨ . You might say that happiness is created in your heart and can’t be connected to a place, person or circumstance(s). I would not agree to that (at least not a 100%) because for me happiness can only be created in your heart when the heart finds its right rhythm - that rhythm one can only hear when the heart had softened and opened up to life. Today it’s clear to me that this can absolutely be connected to a place (person or circumstance). . My happy place for the last years is Ubud. Here I feel whole, balanced, and HAPPY. Every single Savasana it pops up in front of me - Jungle sounds, pink and purple sunsets, warm breezes and the smell of Frangipani incense. Here I am happy, because here my heart found its own rhythm.💚 . Stress is so present in our daily life. I am just choked of how my friends are busy and tense. I know so many peoples who don’t take even one day off / week. The work culture is present everywhere and in my opinion we are all getting crazy 🤯! So, for today here are some of my better tips for managing stress 🌼: 1) the first one is quite simple : have a ROUTINE ! The body needs to know that everyday they are some routines. Try it for one week and observe the difference 😊. The seconde one is practice short relaxations every day. You just need 5 Minutes / day but it will work ! And the last one is take time for your lunch. Every day. Don’t eat a sandwich in front of your computer 😱. Your body is not a competitor, your body is a friend for your entire life 😘 😊 #managestress #releasestress

Eka Pada Rajakapotasana 😅 are there more complicated names than this one ? In english it’s the one legged king pigeon pose. A little bit more simple. Usually I am just saying the pigeon, but there are different variations of this pigeon 🐦 ! So, in sanskrit eka means « one », pada means « foot », raja means « king » and kapota « pigeon ». I used to really avoid this pose, because I was felling anxious in it. What helps me is to warm up a lot and practice different hips oppening postures before this one. For exemple, the lizard is on my opinion a great way to prepare the body for the pigeon. At the end, I just adore this pose. You can also put a cushion under the hip : that’s a good way to feel more confortable and to release the tensions. #kingpigeonpose #ekapadarajakapotasana

My version of Ajaneyasana, also called in english the crescent moon pose 🌘🌗🌔🌕🌖🌓🌒 ! Usually, the knee is on the ground, but when I practice outdoor in winter 🥶 I prefer this more dynamic version 😏... This pose is a great way for opening the hips and stretching the quadriceps. Personally, it’s helps me also to take ma place and to improve my self-assurance. Ajaneyasana is the perfect pose before an exam 🤗 ! Finally, the crescent moon is quite appropriate in case of sciatica. 🌘 #crescentmoonpose #anjaneyasanavariation

Ahimsa is the principle of non-violence 🌸. Non-violence with the others but also with yourself, your emotions and your body. I really like to explore the ahimsa idea in my daily yoga practice. Here are a couple of ways to practice ahimsa concretely : the first one is to listen your body. How does your body feel today ? Do you feel tense ? Or tired ? Or powerful ? Your body is different everyday so your practice should also be different and adapted. The second one is to stay focus on your mat. There is no benefit to comparing yourself to someone else and absolutely no reason to judge. The third one is to take the time to start your practice gently. This one has really changed everything for me. I used to rush into my « yoga hour », just like I rushed into the subway 😩😛 ! #ahimsayoga🌸

G A N E S H A | Remover of all obstacles ✨🐘💪 . What obstacles are there on your path or in your life? What keeps you from going where you wanna go? Or in other words: What’s blocking your body and mind to fully expand? Do you already know or don’t you wanna know? 🧐 . To me it’s very clear that mind and body are connected. One can’t get far without the other one. So locating blockages in your body might help you finding the obstacles in your life as well. . Did you know that there is a correlation between lower back issues and the ability to support yourself? Or that a tense shoulder is your body telling you that you need to relieve stress? . Did you also know, that a Reflexologist can tell what’s going on only by touching your feet and hands - and then help you with the physical issues by pressing certain points? . I’m fascinated with this topic, not only because I’m sure my physical body got better since I’m on Bali again. . SELFCARE is so much more than going to a Spa or Brunch on a weekend when your working schedule was crazy (don’t get me wrong, this is important too). It’s being able to TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF by doing what is best for you, and for me this means a lot of bodywork as well as working on my mindset.✨ . Oh, and btw whenever you visit Ubud and need healing from physical pain, I recommend Papa, the owner of Sandat Bali (you might oversee the place but it is in the same road as Sopa 😉). His hands might hurt (bc they unlock those blockages and this hurts AF) but they work magic!! I really like this revolved chair pose because there is a twist. This pose involves also to stay deeply rotted.
