💛It's recipe Tuesday, party people!💛⁠ ⁠ Hummus, hummus, hummus. You either love it or hate it amiright??⁠ ⁠ Well...I'll be the first to say that I'm really not the BIGGEST hummus person. SHOCKER! I think most store-bought hummus is bland and boring, and it's rare that I would get through a container without it going moldy. How wasteful of me! There's one main exception to this rule: RAW SPROUTED hummus. Have you ever bought it or made it yourself? I fell it love with the texture and flavors of the California local @MajesticGarlic hummus! If you get a chance to try it, go for the turmeric! 🤤⁠ ⁠ Okay, so what does this have to do with our recipe today? I started experimenting a bit more with homemade hummus and fell in love with this simple recipe that my friends love too. It doesn't require tahini, so I'm sure you already have everything on hand. Go on...go check!⁠ ⁠ I soaked my dried chickpeas for a day (or 2 😜) then finished them off in the @InstantPot on manual for 12 minutes. Next time I think I'll try sprouting them instead!⁠ ⁠ Ingredients⁠ 2 cups chickpeas⁠ 1 tablespoon lemon juice⁠ 2 tablespoons water⁠ 1-2 cloves of garlic, to taste⁠ 1 teaspoon ground cumin⁠ 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric⁠ 1/4 teaspoon paprika (smoked or non)⁠ Pinch of salt, to taste⁠ 1-2 tablespoons olive oil ⁠ ⁠ Directions:⁠ Add everything except the oil to a food processor and process until smooth. While the processor is still running, slowly add the olive oil until you reach your desired consistency.⁠ ⁠ *Saves well in the fridge in an airtight container for about 4 days.⁠ **I opted to leave out the olive oil so I can dehydrate the hummus for an upcoming backpacking trip. ~Pesto Stuffed Gnocci~ Call me a Traitor (pun intended, I’m the actual worst 🤦🏻‍♂️), but I kept the @traderjoes cauliflower gnocchi in the freezer today and reached for the stuffed gnocchi (stuffed with sauce and cheese!) 🤪 I love a no fuss lunch that I can dress up with a few pantry staples, like the Trader Joe’s kale cashew pesto 🙏🏻 Sometimes my days are just too dang busy to make elaborate lunches, so these quick meals need to suffice 🔥 This came together in 15 minutes and was soooo tasty, 10/10 recommend 👏🏻 . . . ▶️ Baked stuffed @traderjoes gnocchi (I baked at 450 for 10 minutes and then upped heat to broil for another 5 to get color) + tossed in kale cashew pesto @traderjoes + a little parm + a handful of hemp seeds for some more protein + red pepper flakes 🔥

perfect little banana raisin muffins 🥰🍌i tend to always have many a ripe banana in the house, since being on scd means you only eat bananas when they start to get brown spots...and then you don’t eat them fast enough and they’re all brown amirite 😭so then you turn them into muffins or bread 🤗 these ones are a @comfybelly (again!) bread recipe i used for muffins and added in the raisins, they came out perfect!! ill definitely be using this recipe again 🤞

Pues hace bastante tiempo, una amiga mía me dio una receta de las Pumariegas de Avilés, y el otro día encontré la receta y empecé a buscar información en los periódicos locales, la verdad no encontré demasiada, pero si la suficiente para saber algo mas de estos dulces típicos, yo adapte porque la receta que tenia no llevaba licor pero, según he leído si que la autentica si lo llevaba y hace muchos años creo que lo que mas se usaba era anís y asi lo hice. Todavía recuerdo la Confitería Galé, en la calle la Cámara por cierto hacia unos pasteles muy ricos, aunque, no recuerdo cuando se cerro, pero hace mucho tiempo. No llego a su altura, ni si siquiera lo pretendo, solo quiero recordar este dulce típico de Avilés que que seguramente casi nadie, o muy pocos conocen, es un manjar.
