More muscles will mean more fat burn, simple! . 💖 Balance Find time to keep your mindset, nutrition, training and sleep balanced. All of these are as important to one another, if one is unbalanced then the others can become compromised. . 💖 Plan Ahead Set out your meal plan for the week and use food journals as a way to control and monitor your consumption. Writing your goals down on paper will seperate the “i’d like to do something to improve” from “I am going to do something to improve”. A periodical aim (lose 3kg in 6 weeks) is a great way to keep yourself on track also! . Women, we have hormonal levels that need to be maintained and if our system is loaded with stress from the anxiety of sticking to a dangerously strict “diet”, then we are probably doing more damage to our bodies than good. A successful plan requires slow progressions so that long term it can be sustained. So train hard, find balance and plan for long term! ☺️👏🏽 #sustainability

I don’t discriminate against any types of vegetables, EXCEPT when I have to wear a swimsuit. My diet typically consists of TONS of veggies (all kinds), however, a few days before I hit the beach, I usually begin to reduce my intake of cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.) as these foods trigger an expansion in my midsection. #orgetfoodpoisoninglikeme #anddonteatanything

My 131 Journey...I'm not the kind of person who naturally gravitates to posting intimate details of my life on public forums but I feel so strongly about this movement, it is worth the embarrassment 10-fold. The girl on the left is smart and educated. She knows how many calories are contained in each macronutrient. She knows how to calculate her macros. She knows how to meal plan. She knows how to cook and she knows a lot about the composition of food. She is also a determined, dedicated and hard-working person, but the harder she tried, the more resistant her body was to losing fat. The girl on the left is frustrated because she was doing everything "right" and seeing no change. 🌸 The girl on the right is also smart and educated. Except now, she is educated with up to date, science-based knowledge that helped her cure the root causes of her weight-loss resistance. She is happy. She hasn't counted a macro or a calorie for over a year. She lives a balanced relaxed life and she has repaired her relationship with food. She loves where she's at but her journey isn't over yet! Veggie packed soup with a little bit of spice? 🌶 Yes please! ✨ This easy, satisfying soup is perfect for any winter lunch or dinner! _____________________________________________________________ [one tablespoon extra virgin olive oil + one diced yellow onion + six minced cloves of garlic + three chopped carrots + three chopped celery sticks + one can ground pealed tomatoes + two quarts vegetable stock + lemon juice from two lemons + two cans rinsed kidney beans + one bunch of chopped kale + salt & red pepper flakes to taste] _____________________________________________________________ Sauté onions, garlic and olive oil over medium-high heat until browned and top with a layer of salt and red pepper flakes. Add all chopped vegetables and tomatoes except for the kale and cook until softened. Add vegetable stock and lemon juice then bring to a boil. After five to ten minutes add kidney beans and kale. Remove from heat and season additionally to taste!
