My first official bootcamp class post surgery! I had to modify some, and some I did something completely different, but I went. I feel fantastic! I may not be able to walk tomorrow (sorry to my colleagues 🙈), but today I feel great! I have been missing my routine. I’ve been missing my peeps. I need the accountability and stress release I get from bootcamp. I feel stronger physically and mentally now. Today will be my day 1 (for the gazillionth time). I started my day with eggs and spinach. Had scallops/shrimp with bacon and kale slaw for lunch. A bit more fats than I’d normally do for lunch, but I’m planning a low fat supper, so I’m ok with it. Weird but I can totally be into it ☀️ ▫️One thing that I make sure to add in everyday while trying to cut is high intensity interval training! I’ve said it before - it works! I am not a cardio girl, but doing 30 sec of something with all my heart and soul, I can do. 30 seconds people! You can do anything for 30 seconds. This is usually around the time I give up. . . It’s week 12 and my body has done some changing. But my mind thinks that it’s ok to try and take on some old habits. Well, old, bad habits don’t foster change. . . . So this time around, I’m not quitting. I have my motivation in the front of my mind and I’m reminding myself daily that change doesn’t happen overnight. With continued exercise and my daily dose of #puresuperfood I’m still heading on the right track. . . . Old habits die hard. These old habits can peace out ‘cause “I ain’t messing with you.” 🎶 🎤 (If you’ve seen the movie “Fist Fight” ya know what song I’m singing!🤣)

The scale is slowly but surely going down, but I took a quick measurement of my lower belly and it showed me that I have lost 2 inches since the new year! Yay! This is the most calories I have eaten while trying to lose weight, but I know it’s necessary to keep my metabolism working properly throughout the whole journey.
