A little #mondaymotivation for ya 💪🏻 . Don’t underestimate the power of small changes. Try out a healthy recipe. Go for a short walk. Swap out a toxic sunscreen for a cleaner one. Ditch the shoes indoors. . Do any of those but you don’t have to do them all in one day! It much less overwhelming and you’re much more likely to stick with a new change by working it intentionally and organically into your life rather than overhauling it. Pick an area you want to improve and make a plan comprised of baby steps and small wins. Think of where you could be in a few weeks? A few months? This time next year?! . Fast or slow, today is a great day to start ✨

If you’re a new parent, you’re going to need to stock up on @catellipasta. Pasta is an amazing food to offer your budding foodie, and, you can start safely right at 6 months with the Baby Led Weaning approach. In my classes I recommend pasta because it can be a source of non-heme iron, fibre and healthy carbohydrates for your growing babe. Here’s how you do it: . _Step 1: Source a brand of pasta that is enriched with iron. I recommend @catellipasta since they have a variety of products that work for many diet lifestyles. You can choose whole grain pasta like Catelli Ancient Grains or Catelli Super Greens to get baby accustomed to other colours, a unique flavor profile, and duh…veggies. _Step 2: Choose the right type of noodle for your babes’ development. If your baby is just beginning solids, you will want to “think big”. This means you can start with a larger pasta noodle such as lasagna that has been cut into strips, rotini noodles or long fettuccine noodles. If you have a more advanced foodie on your hands, try macaroni or bowtie pasta cut into half. These smaller pasta noodles work great for an older baby who is trying to master their pincer grasp. _Step 3: Cook the pasta a few minutes longer. This ensures it is extra soft for babies that are learning to chew, choo, choo. _Step 4: Batch cook 1 cup of pasta at a time. C’mon, we know you’re busy! _Step 5: Dress your pasta. Before serving drizzle it with your preferred fat source like a vegetable oil, butter or cream cheese. Don’t be shy! _Step 6: Give yourself (and baby) a round of applause. You’re doing the best that you can. Feeding our baby can be met with points of frustration followed by moments of immense joy, it’s truly a magical progression and Catelli is happy to be a part of that feeding journey. . One for me and one for you! Mornings in this house can be a bit cray cray and the dream of a “healthy, quick, filling” breakfast is not always a reality. Enter: pre-frozen smoothies on the go. I want them to understand if you want to achieve something in life, it’s not just going to be handed to you.
