Frog pose is my weakness, I feel so painful to do 😵😂How about you?- - Teacher: @miss_sunitha ・・・ Mixing active and passive stretches into flexibility-based poses allows for us to safely work into flexibility without compromising stability. . The first 6 poses are active stretches - stay for about 8-10 breaths each. The last 3 poses are passive stretches - stay for about 3 minutes each. . A few things to note: 1️⃣ Activate the outer thigh of the front foot and tuck the hip under. 2️⃣ In this variation, the hips move back while the tailbone lengthens down. Notice the weight on the feet, try to keep them equal between right and left. 3️⃣ The tendency is to hyper extend the knee, sinking the entire weight on the knee joint. To prevent this, keep the knee caps lifted and thighs pressing up. You may not go as low, but it will prevent collapsing into the joints. Keep both the inner and outer feet pressing down equally to support the ankles. 4️⃣ If it’s hard to balance in this pose, the palms can be on blocks. If possible, try using the tricep to press against the thigh. Tailbone lengthens down and belly is in to keep the chest lifted. 5️⃣ Knees are wide. Use the outer hip of the bent knee (like in Warrior II) to ground hips down equally. 6️⃣ Keep this active by using the outer hip of both legs to open the knees to the sides. Belly is in and tailbone lengthening to the ground. 7️⃣ Make sure the knee is in line with the hips (not forward or back!), and the ankles are in line with the knees. Then start leaning forward while maintaining the hips directly in line with the knees. As we move to passive stretches, feel free to use blocks under the forearms or forehead to get comfortable, and breath through the discomfort. 8️⃣ Wiggle the hips as close to the wall as possible but keep the lower back on the mat. If the lower back is slightly lifted, place a towel underneath. 9️⃣ Wiggle the hips as close to the wall as possible. Notice if the knees feel hyper extended, work on pressing the thighs down and tilting the hips forward while lengthening the tailbone down. . Try not to force anything, work with the breath in all the poses. Above all, be patient 😉 .

Side crow with eagle legs . This is a fun variation of a normal side crow pose . So executing this pose is almost the same as normal side crow pose, except the way you place your legs before you bend your knees. . TIPS: This pose requires a good twist, so make sure that you practice some deep twisting and hip opening poses before entering this pose. Do some core work. Do a few chaturangas to fire up the arm strength. . Keep gaze slightly forward of the fingertips and bend your elbows straight back ( 90 degree) . Lead the pose with the heart . Try to don’t let the shoulders dip down , although this requires a lot of strength. ( I still have to work on this ) Shift your hips slightly to the side , by this increaseing the weight on the palms. . Extra tips: Using one arm requires more upper body strength, while using both arm as a shelf for the hips requires more of a twist. Try both version and see which one you feel more comfortable with. If you are a newbie place a blanket under your head, preventing a hard bang on the floor( just in case) . ☺️ but hopefully this will not happen 🙃 . ṖŔᗩƇƬĪƇᗩ DƐ Y❤Ɠᗩ El ser humano esta conformado por un cuerpo físico, un cuerpo mental y un aspecto emocional. En la práctica del yoga se ponen en juego estos tres aspectos. El primer plano que trabajamos en la clase es el cuepro físico, combinando posturas que apuntan a la flexbilidad/elongación, a la fuerza y al equilibrio, buscando la armonía corporal. A través de la postura que se trabaja en la clase, se refleja como cada uno se encuentra en ese momento en su plano mental y emocional, generando efectos beneficios también en ellos. En en plano emocional, a través de las distintas posturas que se practican en la clase, se mueve la energía y esto destraba corazas musculares que movilizan recuerdos, emociones, sentimientos que pueden manifiestarse mediante tos, bostezos, llanto o risas. Esta movilización de sensaciones internas, se profundiza en la clase de yoga por el ambiente en calma y agradable que permite el registro interno de cada uno. Durante toda la práctica se procura aquietar la mente teniendo la conciencia en lo que se esta haciendo en el aquí y ahora de la clase. En definitiva lo que se busca en la práctica del yoga es la armonía que el físico, la mente y el espíritu necesitan. #yoga #hathayoga #cuerpomenteespiritu #cuerposaludable #mentecalma #emocionespositivas #bienestar
