Connecting with y'all ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹Today seem like a good day to tell you that you can ask me a question, or two, if you have any questions that you think I might be able to help you with. I quite often hear the following statement "I've been wondering about X for a long time now, but I didn't want to ask". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹Today is the day you can ask (actually any day is) all and any of your questions, down below or privately, your choice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹As you know I teach Strength and Mobility, including partner stretching, some coordination and games, handstands and some calisthenic skills. I've practiced basic movements from the Da Xuan school daily over the past 12 months. I like meditation and breathing exercises. My mum is a seamstress and my dad is a painter so inevitably summers and school holidays were spent learning to paint a house, furniture and various walls and to crochet, knit and sew. I have also several times dug deeper into female hormones and what endometriosis is and how to manage it. I started drinking coffee a few years back and enjoy making my own cup at home including grinding the beans. I know how to braid my own and my husbands @_luketulloch hair and know a few different ways of braiding. A couple of years back I was making kombucha and sourdough bread each week. I have traveled to America and quite a few countries in Europe. I have lived in Sweden, Norway and live in Australia. Over the years I've grown fond of second hand clothes and how to better recycle/reuse stuff and so is my sister which is cool. Recently I've enjoyed spending time in second hand book stores, which has led to a few books being purchased. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹You don't need to ask me about physical training, but it may be what I know best. I will tell you if I don't have the answer or information about what you're asking but it may be that I know someone who does have answers to your question. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹Get in contact- let us talk about things! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔹PS. ‘APPRIVOISER’ - Taming With Charm. A French word that I find hard to translate in English... ‘To Tame’ feels too blunt and ‘To Charm’ feels too velvety🙄 Well... let’s go for the first one then. Getting to ‘know’ your own handstand practice is a constant push and pull. The mind says you’re not supposed to stand on your hands, while the body quietly tries to meet the positional demands of the position... WAAAAAIIIT, scratch that...❌ ‘Taming With Charm’ that’s it! @bea.maz ❤️ When the two start to collaborate again, when they integrate and co-create, an intersting still point starts to arise. When the mind gives the body some space to find its own ‘line of thought’ and when it is allowed to breathe again... there comes the point of balance. I personally love this practice because it allows me to self-integrate. I get to be fully present with the physical, the emotional and the mental part of me. These are all vital landscapes of my human experience. Almost everything that gets exposed, strengths and weaknesses alike, through the practice are a direct and unfiltered reflection of my tendencies, my behaviours and beliefs outside of it. Unedited. Долгий путь к стойке на руках ). И наконец-то я научилась закидывать ноги и находить баланс не касаясь стены, правда пока ноги выпрямить не могу, чтобы нормально отстроиться ) ну ничего ). Мышцы уже лучше слушаются, лучше включаются, тело понимает чем делается стойка ). А еще мы вчера паркурили! 0 уровень паркура ). Но это так классно! Мы за всестороннее развитие. I can finally practice again! 😁 after 5 weeks on crutches, 2 months not being allowed to do any exercise at all. Training with a broken knee cap, still can't bend my knee... the struggle is real!! Time to get fit again haha 💪💪💪
